Description
WOW,, 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible. Very clean and well maintained. Fully Documented from Day 1. Please see pictures of all related documentation. Car has 99,000 original miles. Loved and driven on nice days. Original numbers matching engine ( 327 cu. in. 300 h.p. HE Block ) with matching transmission. All receipts are available with the car from day one, and shows a clean life throughout the years. The car has had a repaint, and a slight color change to a lighter metallic blue. Original color was Laguna Blue ( one of only 2,054 that year ). Car was originally a hardtop only car, but the hardtop was replaced with a factory soft top, and now is a soft top only car. Accident free body. Top has been replaced. Good driver quality paint - a few small scratches and chips, as it has been driven and loved. Original block was rebuilt, and as you can see from the pictures, it was dyno'd and falls right around that factory 300 H.P. area. Suspension has been fully serviced, and the frame is solid including the usual areas of concern, like the torque boxes or trailing arms. Original hubcaps and steel rims can be found on the car. Posi rearend, tinted glass and power brakes. Drives like new. Engine currently has newer MSD distributor, but the owner will include the original distributor and original alternator, as that has been upgraded too. Full Suspension Service. Power four wheel disc brakes - also fully rebuilt - rotors and master cyl. Very Low Reserve. New owner is responsible for all shipping costs or fly in to Edmonton, and drive it home, or drive up with a trailer and trailer it home. Very easy to buy a car from Canada, and we will help out as much as possible with all documentation. I am listing this car for a friend, and once auction is over, all dealing will be between the seller and new owner. I have previously listed and sold many cars this way on Ebay, and please look at my feedback. Bid with confidence. Any questions you may have, please contact myself and I will answer, or pass you onto the owner for further clarification. Please see all pictures.
On Oct-16-17 at 08:23:09 PDT, seller added the following information:****** It was just brought to my attention by the seller, and I would like to share this with all viewers and bidders, that upon further research, he has found that the transmission is period correct, and model correct, but, it no the numbers matching original transmission for the car. He believes it was put in from a 1968 corvette. Again, same model ( M-20 four speed ), but it not the transmission that came with the car. Motor is correct, but transmission is not numbers correct. Most people are concerned more with the engine being numbers correct, and shouldn't find this to be a huge issue, but, to be fair to all interested parties, we thought we should point out this fact before the reserve has been met.
Thanks, and if anyone has any questions, please contact myself. ******
