1964 Chevrolet 2 Door Bel Air
Im selling my often daily driven 1964 2 door post chevy belair sedan
Its semi restored, semi original, gots lots of new parts, pwr brakes, suspension, radiator, motor/tranny +
Hot rod black, NOT PRIMER, not even semi pro done, was white og, then blue at some point, it shows in many places on the car
please note; i did not "build" this entire car, I have only been fixing it up & making it roadworthy & as issue free as possible.
she was acquired via trade, & had been sitting for a while after the builder passed on & I do not know its history,
it has too many spots to point out where you'd say, what happened here ?, the guy def had less then awesome body work skills
and while it dosent "show" from 5 feet away apon major bumper to bumper inspection it sure as hell does, (see pictures)
She has a decent straight body, new quarters & all emblems removed from front side & back (bottom grill trim is there, just black)(for now)
The car has a good condition original (moslty) black interior, has buckets w/ small seat rips, various missing screws & stuff etc,
i dunno really, i get in it n go, i have Never locked the doors, & it fits in at any car show but know, shes not a rat rod, but is def its not mint,
Its got a drive anywhere, mint, mint, mint running very low mile 350, very mild cam, & a decent but low flowmaster sound
has a freshly built turbo 350 that shifts crisp & will even chirp the tires at passing speed on the highway, with the red rallys on
This car rides great, presently has rear air shocks & comes with both sets of wheels pictured,
black with white letter are 15" x 7 ~1980 Z28 wheels
red are 15 x 7 inch gm rallys w/ gm disc caps (1 tire is bad & another leaks though)
~the black rally set pics were taken today 10/16 ~15/7 front & 15/8 rear with 275s,
they are not included
She has full length turn out cutout style headers, that go into full length semi new exhaust w/flowmasters
Car runs incredibly good, stops good, front disc rear drum, it has good rear ratio, but unknown rear gears = 65mph - 2600 rpm+/-
She needs very little work to be 100%. ~ mechanically - tune carb, small oil leak fix, rear valve cover / manifold gasket ?
come with some extra parts like new rotors & brakes & extra headlights, some int parts & whatnot.
what else ? ~ as far as i can tell, nothing major to the best of my knowledge,
mostly interior fixes due to last owners "custom" (horrible) stereo / l.e.d. wiring setup
my 2do list in no part order: new door/window rubber, make a glove box, new gauges? (factory speed & gas, +oil & tach work)
install new l.e.d. for/behind or re hook up int dash lights, hook up wipers - motor works (has new unwired switch),
new / fix kik panels, fix up /make rear deck, sunvisors, install radio antena amp 4 serious bass etc
I drive it semi daily when weather permits, & Just drove to a show 45 miles to & back this past wknd,
no drama, no issues & everyone, loved this freakin car there, plus everywhere i go
(it can be kinda annoying having to talk to people everywhere i stop though)
its gangster low rider old school muscle car hot rod awesome cool, seriously.
I've had a bunch of different cars luckily, & this one is a attention magnet just so you know,
so be prepared to make a lot of new "friends" whenever you travel, get gas, or simply park it.
i will of course, be doing more stuff to it when i can, cause i love it
(like diff air cleaner + matching valve covers + new gaskets / radio?)
