Description

I am selling an awesome LSx Powered 1971 Chevelle. Some call it pro-touring, a resto-mod, or a street machine, but I just call it badass. It's the definition of modern muscle with a modern fuel injected engine and overdrive transmission. Get in, turn the key and go, just like a brand new car with the looks of a classic American muscle car and with new car performance. It started out as a clean 71 Chevelle with a small block and factory AC, now it has the fuel injected LS engine with a nice tune and a built 4L60e automatic transmission with a 3000 stall converter. A stand alone ECU is hidden under the passenger seat with the OBDII diagnostic port tucked under the center console. Stainless steel headers into a dual exhaust with Flowmasters make the car sound modest while cruising and brutal when you get into it. Engine bay was kept clean and simple, the way it should be. New modern heating system helped smooth the firewall out and works great too. Power steering makes driving easy and disc brakes up front with drilled/slotted rotors look great and perform nicely. The car is lowered 2" all around and sits perfectly on the 18" Ridler wheels with 285 wide Goodyear Eagle F1 tires in the rear. The car rides great, everything is smooth and tight - no squeaks or rattles or BS. Drive it anywhere with confidence. The body is straight, all the gaps are nice and all of the doors, hood and trunk open and close beautifully. All of the windows go up and down smoothly (one of the rear windows comes off the track sometimes). The floors are all solid, as is the frame and trunk. The car is painted a beautiful deep blue metallic and the stripe along the side is painted semi-gloss gray to match the wheels. It's subtle and really clean, yet custom and eye-catching in all the right ways. The trim was color matched to the car as well. The front bumper was shaved and smoothed (front license plate recess was removed) so now it comes to a point matching the hood and the front chin spoiler was added to finish off the look. All of the factory badges were removed and a small LSx emblem was added to the front grill and rear trunk lid. Very subtle but gives a hint to what is hiding under the hood. The interior is just clean and simple; stock bucket seats, center console with the staple shifter, aftermarket audio system with speakers in the kick panels and rear deck - no extra holes or cut up panels. All of the lights, signals, gauges, wipers, stereo, heat, etc… all work properly (speedo not connected because the transmission is now electronic). All of the upholstery is in good shape, like the seats, headliner, rug and door panels. Overall, the car looks great and runs even better. It puts a smile on everyone’s face that gets in it. Not a perfect show or museum car, it does have some imperfections since it does get used and driven around, but it was never built to be a trailer queen. It gets thumbs up wherever it goes and people love it at the car shows too. Get in, turn the key and go anywhere… in style.

This is a NO RESERVE auction, meaning the car will be sold to the highest bidder. Sold as-is. Feel free to contact me with OFFERS, QUESTIONS, or to COME SEE THE CAR in person.
