True 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-door Hardtop. Was originally a V8 car. Now has a 350 V8 with a Saginaw 4 speed transmission, Hurst shifter, and a 12 bolt rear end. It does have power steering. Car was originally Yellow and black with charcoal and yellow interior. Now its black with black interior.

The paint on the car is old and thin with cracks and bubbles in some spots and would need to be repainted to be super nice. But it has been buffed and polished one last time and has a nice shine. I would consider it a 6.5-7 out of 10. The chrome and stainless is all in near perfect condition. The interior looks nice with no issues.

The floors have been repaired by a previous owner but they just cut out the old rust and welded in the new pans over it. Also 2 of the 4 floor supports on each side need replacing and there are two spots in the trunk pan that need replacing as well (see pics).

The motor starts right up and the car shifts well. The clutch is probably wearing out though and will need to be replaced some time in the future because you can smell it slipping under load.

The car has new brakes with new front drums and a new Champion aluminum radiator with a new electric 2400cfm fan. The motor runs nice and cool. I also just put in a new power steering hoses and a new emergency brake.

The sky is the limit on these Tri-Five Bel Air 2-door hardtops and they are getting harder to find. With paint, a new clutch, and the floors repaired this would be a $35k car. As it sits it is a nice driver that could be worked on and taken to the next level so it is priced accordingly.
