Description

Some Camaros are built to look mean, but this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is out to remind you that performance can also be classy. The perfect coordinating combination of colors inside and out is joined by its original small-block under the hood to be the smartest looking vintage muscle machine out there.
Granada Gold is the factory-correct a color, and it was applied to this coupe for a very good reason. This Camaro is believed to still have its original body panels, which for many of us is like striking gold. A correct black vinyl top complements the gold paint quite nicely. Plus, it coordinates with the louvered hood trim and D90 SS stripe around the nose so well that this looks like a very thoughtful total package. Nicely finished bumpers with guards, polished stainless rocker moldings, and proper emblems further enhance the upscale look. But it's also still a speedy machine at heart, too. That's why you have iconic Camaro features like the D80 rear spoiler, and of course, the Rally Sport's hidden headlights. These two worlds of elegance and performance unite in a finishing touch on the shiny American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.
Inside there are some nice upgrades, but most of it keeps the original (and rare) features. For example, the few Camaros that came with bench seats usually had them changed out for buckets during the decades before these were appreciated for being practical, original, and rare. That would have been a shame because, as you can see, the code 756 bench seat is actually a very fashionable setup. It has the cool strato-back comfort, and when you don't need a person in the middle, there's a nice fold down armrest. So it's a cool, comfortable setup that we don't see often today. The same goes for the column-mounted automatic transmission. It's so honest in its originality that people cannot help but stare. And for you the experience is just as memorable with the factory three-spoke steering wheel, and beyond that the deep dual pods that emphasize the large speedo and other gauges. Despite all this originality, you can see some handy upgrades. The original interior lighting is now a brighter LED setup. And while the original radio is on display, a custom cup holder center console was crafted to house the modern Sony AM/FM/CD stereo.
Under the hood is Chevrolet's trusty and powerful 327 cubic-inch V8. This is the original motor, so we especially like it dressed nicely with Chevy orange paint on the block, intake, and valve covers. No outrageous add-ons, just the cool factory-style 327 stickers in a package with tidy belts, wires, and hoses. If you've seen too many Camaros that get too wild with their engine bays, an exceptionally honest and well-presented one like this will actually get you excited especially because it's original. Proper maintenance means it fires up with ease and runs like a good small-block should. Plus, the dual exhaust gives a little performance flair to you drive. Add in the Powerglide automatic transmission and power steering, and this makes it an easy choice for weekend cruising.
Here's a first-year Camaro Rally Sport that is truly distinguished inside and out. We know this high level of originality is the kind of package that will never go out of style, which is why we also know this Camaro will be leaving our showroom soon. Call today!!!
