Description

The first impact you get about this 55 is "THE STANCE". You know this car "MEANS BUSINESS" if it had to. NO FLUFF. It was BUILT RIGHT. car has "the Look" and "the Sound" to backup it's "mean Stance" A dry Florida car that anyone would be happy to own. The engine is a 396 bored to 408 cu. in. with the desirable 990 head, headers to mufflers and a Holly on Nitrous, The engine is "set back" . The tranny is a Winters Performance built Turbo 400 reverse valve body, transbrake, and 3500 converter. The rear end combo is a Ford nine inch,4:10 and a spool.
This engine combo makes it wind up like a small block but with that beautiful Big Block torque. The Body and it's floorboards, body to frame mounts are SOLID. This is not a body that has had the floorboards and mounts patched or replaced. This car was built and driven in Florida over 10 years ago. I bought it as you see it. I have used it as a summer car that I have used to feed my habit of wanting to listen to a "sweet" Big Block run down the road. It has been a crowd pleaser at The National car shows in Vermont for years. It has been one of the few Radical cars that actually drives around at events. The TV stations have used videos of it to promote car shows. Again, the stance, look and sounds along with the Custom Purple color is impressive I have priced this 55 at a fair price. It could demand more money than I am asking. I have an other car now nearing completion (Steel Willys) so it is time to see the 55 go to a good home. I am in my early seventies an had many rides in my life.....this particular 55 has been TOP on the list. You will not find a tighter car. The roll cage makes it ride like a high end touring chassis,
