Selling my very nice 1964 Silver Blue Corvette coupe. I purchase the car 3 years ago from the midwest. It is an original silver blue exterior/blue interior 4 speed coupe. The speedo works but the mileage is not working at 43,500 miles. Not sure of the millage but looks like a low mileage car all around top and bottom. I have atotally rebuilt 1964 corvette speedo that comes with the car.
The block was stamped 4111106 F0204SD which designates a Flint Michigan, Feb built, 300 HP Power Glide Automatic 327 (Feb 4th, 1964 to be specific). The block is casting 3782870 dated A254 (January 25, 1964) has .030 over flat top cast pistons, a forged steel crank and a NEWL79 327/350 HP hydraulic cam and CompCams lifters with a Cloyes double roller timing chain, and all new FelPro gaskets. I went with the L79 cam for its legendary stock performance. The block was decked and the front pad is now blank withbroaching marks. It is ready for the VIN and build date to be applied. The intake is casting 3844459 with a date code of L93 (Dec 9, 1963) and is attached with the correct "TR"coded intake bolts. The Carter AFB (aluminum four barrel) 3721SA Carb dated M3 (December 1963) for a 4 speed 300 HP car which has been rebuilt. The heads are “Camel Hump” 3782461 dated K143 and K113 (November 11/14, 1963) They have been magnafluxed, decked, 3 angle valve job and hardened exhaust seats have been installed so you can run unleaded gas without a problem. The valves are 1.94/1.50.
The motor was installed by a local corvette specialist with all the correct accessories and hardware. At the time the factory shifter was rebuilt as well. The vehicle was completely mechanically sorted and is ready for miles of enjoyment. The brakes and everything on the motor has been done. The Power steering is all new.
Very nice original frame and fiberglass with no hits or repair. The factory silver blue was repainted to a very nice condition. Some small marks here and there from enjoyment. Not concours but very nice quality and presentation. The wheel wells here flared in the 70s. They were done cleanly and have help up excellent. Interior appears to be mostly original and show very well. Big block hood, side pipes and rallye wheels with brand new BFGs complete the look.
It took be a long time to find a nice mid year coupe. This car has treated me well and drives as good as it looks. In its current condition it can be enjoyed and shown for many years to come. Other projects and interests prompt the sale. The vehicle is located in northern Westchester county, NY. Any questions please callme at 917-847-0065
