Description

A real-deal 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 is a classic that will always be in demand. But when it has been restored to be fun on the street and look fantastic when you park it, then you know this is the turn-key deal that won't stay with us long.
This is a sweet spot for many Camaro lovers. The first few years of the 2nd generation cars carried a nice mixture of European fastback lines with some bold American touches. The pinnacle of this was the RS package that gave these pony cars some serious attitude. The split-bumper, with the flexible Endura front end (a feature borrowed from Pontiac), gave these Camaros a wide mouth that made them look like they would eat anything that got in their way. This kind of mean styling deserves a hotshot of newer red with glossy clear coat. But more than just bold paintwork, the iconic black Z/28 stripes match the front air dam and bring even more attention to the full-width spoiler. In fact, this one looks fantastic right down to the correct gunmetal gray Z/28 Mag wheels.
The interior features the correct high-backed bucket seats, which debuted for the 1971 model year. Not only did these receive attention during the restoration, but also there's a new center console, too. So you truly have the best in speedy comfort. You even have a nice upgrade to an AM/FM/CD stereo with iPod input. Everything else looks like it came right from the factory, including the NK4 sports steering wheel with rope-style grip, full gauge panel with tach, and the Hurst sports shifter. Those who like these kinds of details will also notice the original-style houndstooth trunk mat and proper spare.
Under the hood are more great signs of investment and power. The 350 cubic-inch V8 looks great with the bold orange block, shiny ribbed valve covers, and smooth air topper radiating within the gloss black engine bay. You can tell by how everything looks fresh and tidy that there was proper attention paid to this motor. It inhales deeply through a four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority as he headers feed the dual exhaust. A Muncie M21 is stout enough to handle this muscle. The close-ratio four-speed stick combined with the 3.73 Positraction rear end means you're unbeatable off the line. Plus, with power steering, front disc brakes, BF Goodrich T/As, and sway bars front & rear, this is a great coupe to handle the streets.
This is the kind of Camaro that looks and feels like the best of the 1970s, but it has been restored so someone new can come along and enjoy it in modern times. Don't miss out on turn-key fun. Call now!
