Up for auction is a very clean 1972 Chevy Chevelle Malibu. This is a numbers matching 307 V8 car and is believed to have 68,000 original miles. This car comes complete with the original owner's manuals and original Chevrolet warranty protecto plate. The interior of this car was partially restored and has brand new door panels, seat covers, door sill plates and carpets. The original headliner is in excellent shape aside from two small holes on the passenger side as pictured. The interior is missing the wind lace around the headliner and the rear ash trays. The dash pad is great shape and is free of any cracking. The exterior of this Chevelle is very straight and it has never been in an accident. The hood, doors and trunk open and close like a new car. The paint job is approximately 10 years old and shows well with a good shine, but it is driver quality. There are a few blemishes throughout, but nothing major. The body is very rust free aside from the rear quarters behind the wheels as pictured. The trunk pan, floor pans and rockers are all very solid. The previous owner cut the rear wheel lips for clearance in order to fit the large 275/60/15 rear tires. The undercarriage is very dry and rust free, only having minor surface rust on the frame and suspension components. The car has a brand new exhaust, new torque thrust wheels and brand new tires. The car runs and drives very well. The engine still has the original 2 barrel carburetor installed on it. The car was factory equipped with power front disc brakes. This is a very solid driver quality Chevelle offered at a low reserve price.
