Description

This truck started out its life as a white with teal green bottom stripe 1993 Z71 4x4. I bought the truck new at a local dealership in NC. I drove it daily to work at a office job about 60 miles away. Always keeping it clean and loving it. It is actually a rare 4 wheel positive traction truck. After several years my position changed and I became a superintendent for a construction company and drove it the job every day. I replaced the original 350 engine with a crate motor from Chevy when the truck had 266,000 miles and continued to drive until 2006 at which time I purchased a new ride and retired her to live a little easier life. This life would be as my son's first ride. After much thought and discussion he decided he did not want a white truck and my brother and I volunteered to paint it for him. (My brother painted cars years prior and I always had a artistic talent and wanted to try my hand at air brushing) This began a 2 year process of designing the graphic, ordering parts from all over the country, cleaning and painting the truck as you see in these photos. The paint is amazing and will turn heads where ever it goes. When the truck was finished it was so nice my son was really scared to drive it much and only drove it to a few shows. I have kept insurance and tags on the truck just so I could drive it if I wanted and do regularly to keep things lubed. Well the time has come to let someone else enjoy the truck. (My son is getting married and has college debt that needs to be paid) If you enjoy cruising or shows it is a great truck and will bring years of fun.
