1958 CHEVROLET CHEVY BISCAYNE REBUILT 283 V8 AUTO RUNNING PROJECT. I bought this car last year to build a rat rod driver. Pulled the original engine and bought this one from a buddy who rebuilt it. All new engine runs but needs timing set, accelerator pumps a bit week in the Eldelbrock Carb. Start up every time and pulls itself but trans has a leak now. Its a Power Glide. I just don't have the time to mess with it anymore. Ready to send it on. The cars a good car, floors just have small holes the size of my thumb in a few spots. Trunks good in the center but has holes where the spare tire goes on the sides. Good glass. Seats need recovered but we have cheapo seat cover on them now. New wheels cost me near $1200. Have about $800 in the motor. Paid over $2000 for the body. Rebuilt the front brakes so its adding up. Had it listed locally for $5500 but no sale so far.
