Description

*********************************************************************************. ************************************************************************************************
We are an antiques store located in Midland Texas, we are helping a client sell her late husbands vehicles. You can message us with questions concerning this vehicle, but we are going off what limited information we were able to get from the widow and her family. We may not have a definitiveanswer to your question right away. We are selling this vehicle AS IS, it is not running and has not run for quite some time, it has been garage kept for quite some time now(5+ years from what we understand), this 1969 Stingray is a collectable vehicle and would make a great project car, the body is straight, we found no visible rust, the best thing would be for the buyer to come see the car in person. Buyer is responsible for transport of the vehicle from its location, whether that be them picking it up or having a shipping company ship the vehicle. The buyer is responsible for all cost involved in the transport of the vehicle after purchase. Full payment for vehicle is required with in 3 days of purchase. We will accept cash or a cashiers check from a certified US or Canadian Bank in person, or PayPal if you wish to purchase online, a PayPal deposit of $2000.00 is required at time of purchase on this vehicle.
We have for you today a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray that was once a daily driver and now has been sitting in a garage for a while. This Stingray is a 2 door coupe hard top with removable T-Tops, the serial number on this car is 732862. The VIN number is 194379S732862, the owners family and myself were unable to get the hood open on this car open, the passenger side latch is stuck, from what we are told it hasn't been stuck very long and what the family understands is that the engine in this Stingray is the factory original L48 350 CID 4 BBL V8. The car is rear wheel drive with the factory original 3 speed turbo hydra-matic automatic transmission. This car features air conditioning that worked the last time it was used as a daily driver 5+ years ago and has the Stingray side exhaust. The exterior paint is the factory Burgundy 988, but the owner had planned to get it repainted so he was in the middle of getting it prepped for repainting when he passed. The interior is the Saddle/Tan vinyl/cloth interior, the odometer on the car reads 130124 and as far as the family knows it is accurate. From what the late gentlemen's son tells us he believes that if a new battery is put in the car it will start up. The title on the car is clear, the family says that it has had no accidents or damage of any kind that they are aware of. We are not sure how many owners this car has had. All the interior gauges and radio appear to be the factory equipment, the inside handle on the drivers side door is broken. The body of the car appears to be really straight with no signs of any real body work done to it that we can see, we also saw no signs of rust on the car, we believe this car may of been a Texas car its entire life. Please look at the pictures we have up for a better idea of what the car looks like and what condition it is in. Thank you for coming by today.

If you have any questions please feel free to message us, we will try and get an answer for you. We are going to try again to get the hood open, if we do we will verify the engine and take pictures of it. If you would like to go by and look at the car please message us and we can arrange a day and time to meet you there with the owner to look at it. Again we recommend that you come take a look at the car to get a better idea of the condition the car is in, we just have so little information on the car due to the passing of the gentleman that actually drove and worked on the car.
