1956 Chevrolet BelAir 4 door sedan
Description
Get ready to bid on a very cool virtually rust-free 55,500 original mile 1956 BelAir 4 door sedan. Chevrolet built more than 250,000 of this particular model, however, after 61 years there couldn't possibly be many left in this incredible original condition. The Pinecrest Green paint is extremely nice for 61 years old and the interior and engine are original and in very presentable condition. It is the more upscale BelAir but it is basically a plain jane 4 door sedan. The engine is the original, Chevrolet's very durable 235 cubic inch Blue Flame six cylinder with Powerglide automatic transmission. As you check out the pictures you'll see things like the original upholstery, door panels, carpet and trunk liner that are original, not replaced or pirated from parts cars. You'll also see the stainless trim are all there and in nearly perfect condition as are the front & rear bumpers. It runs very well but probably could use a freshening due to not being driven. I am selling this car for an older gentleman friend who bought it ten years ago and has driven it very little since. I don't have any definitive information on the car's prior ownership, however, I was told the car has had three owners prior to the current owner. It has been garage kept in Virginia Beach, VA. If this were a 2 door sedan with a 283 and a four barrel, in this condition, it would be twenty-five grand. Since it is a 4 door six cylinder, it is being offered at a very reasonably low reserve. Remember, they are only original once. Bid to win this one!! Sorry, no bids accepted from overseas bidders. Sale will be conducted through bidders within continental USA and Canada only. Good luck!!
