Description

This time capsule, survivor, rare and original SS/RS 396/325 hp, M-20 4-speed, 765-Z Deluxe interior, J-50 & J-52 Power Disk Brake, Rectangular radius rod, 1967 Camaro was a one owner car until 2012 and a one family owned Camaro until May of 2015. Stored inside and not used from 1983 to 2012 (due to 3 broken lifters) and has only 55,500 original miles. It was assembled in the Van Nuys plant on the 3rd week of May 1967 and was bought new at Frontier Chevrolet in Billings, Montana on June 7th 1967.
This Camaro is almost completely original and as built by Chevrolet aside from a fresh and nearly flawless repaint in the original Madera Maroon PPG Base/Clear paint, new Coker D70-14 bias ply red stripe tires, rear package tray, bumpers (have originals), shocks, weather-strip, mufflers, clutch (have original), master cylinder, some common maintenance items and some lower fender and fender well NOS Rally-Sport trim (Have the originals) & NOS wheel trim rings. The Interior has had 2 small panels replaced on the top of the rear seat and one on the driver's seat bottom side and has an incorrect shift ball (I have the original).
All the sheet metal, interior, engine, carb, upper radiator hose (have the lower but its hardened up), Muncie M-20 transmission, 12 bolt posi rear end, DG rally wheels, glass, keys, trim, etc. are as it came from the factory in 1967. The engine has a new camshaft, lifters and timing chain (I have the originals) and other than that is all original as it came in 1967 including the heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, oil pan / pump, intake, valve covers, distributor, starter and alternator etc. The Original production line chalk marks are still on the firewall. Documentation includes the POP, Owner's manual, original title, and owner history. Complete picture documentation available. I rarely ever drive this car and have a 68 and 69 SS Camaro's...so making some room for the next one.
