1954 Chevy Truck 5700 COE
Description
Up for bidding is a 1954 Chevy 5700 COE Hauler. Built from a 1996 GMC cab over chasis. Engine is from same 96 GMC 5.7L Vortec with approx. 30,000 since complete rebuild. Auto transmission also from same 96 GMC - just completely rebuilt with less than 50 miles since complete rebuild. Problems I know of: no windshield wipers and winch runs but currently is not working - believe is just a solenoid issue - winch also needs a new battery. This truck is a mix of rat rod and a classic 54. I have hauled several cars on this from a Shelby Cobra, Austin Healey's, to my sons Ford Explorer. Plenty of storage boxes for all your tools and tie downs.
Ramp bed on truck is 19'x8' and overall truck length with cab is 26'. It will fit on the back of a full size roll back wrecker since that's how we took it to the transmission shop.
Too many projects and family issues going right now is the only reason I am selling or I would keep it and finish it up to where I want it.
Tires - back tires have plenty of tread on them and front tires are brand new with less than 50 miles on them.
Reserve is set low. Lower than just buying the parts to even begin a project like this. Truck needs someone to take it to the next level and enjoy it.
Certified funds or cash only - payment must be made and received within 48 hours of winning bid. Shipping is buyers responsibility. Clear NC title in hand.
