Description

Up for sale is a bitchin 59 El Camino – one of a kind. This car has just undergone a 3 year nut and bolt restoration with tons of time and money invested. There are not a whole lot of 59 El Caminos out there like this one. If you are in the market for a good example, you need to consider this car. Look at the 24 pics, you will see that thisisn'tyour average restored 59.

This car was built with long term investment in mind. Nothing has been altered to permanently affect the cars integrity or originality. Nothing was cut or welded. The car could easily be put back to stock later on down the road if someone wanted to do so.

This is a very thorough build with everything new, rebuilt, replaced, or restored. Every single clip, screw, bearing, seal, nut and bolt has been gone through on this car. It was done right and it shows.

The underside of the car wascompletelydetailed and looks great. The frame was striped and painted semi-gloss black. The floors were coated in 3m Shutz coating. This is a very fine textured coating that holds up very well. All thesuspensionand front end parts were eitherpowder coatedor shot in base clear.

The car was in Arizona, where it had been most of its life. This was a super solid car to start with and was one of the best unrestored El Caminos I had ever seen.

These are not easy or cheap cars to restore to this level. They don’t reproduce a lot for them and parts can be tough to find. There are a ton of man hours into this build.

The paint on the car was professionally done and looks great! It is very slick and has been color sanded and buffed to a glass finish. All DuPont materials were used. It’s done in a 2014 Corvette red.

Every piece of stainless, aluminum, or chrome was refinished. The one piece bumpers have been replated.

The inside of the bed is beautiful. Lots and Lots of hours went into just the bed alone.

The entire engine compartment was finished with great detail. The firewall is painted body color, as is the underside of the hood. As you can see everything was painted apart. No painted-over bolt heads, all hardware is either new or blasted and re-coated original. Lots of time and money spent getting the engine compartment to look as good as it does.

Everythingunder the hood is brand new. The motor is a rebuilt 327 that runs very smooth. It has apolishedDemon Carb, billet HEI distributor; Billet Specialties streamline valve covers and air cleaner that were shot in red. Stainless headers, polished intake, pulleys, wire looms and more. All hoses, wires, and anything else that could be replaced was.

The tranny is a Muncie 4 speed that shifts nice and functions as it should.

The suspension is all brand new. It is fully adjustable four corner air ride, with electric valves. It uses all quality components from RideTech, Viair, SMC, and has been professionally installed and functions just as it should. It is fully adjustable and can be raised or lowered by the controls on the dash to set your desired ride height.

The car has tubular upper and lower control arms with all new bushings, seals, and ball joints.

The brakes have been upgraded with high end parts. A Wilwood master cylinder and Wilwood proportioning valve were added to feed the massive 14" brakes, which use a c5 z06 style caliper and c6 rotor. The car stops very well.

The wheels are brand new 2 Piece Billets that were made right here in the USA by Esajian wheel. They are 20x8.5 in the front and 22x10s in the rear, wrapped in new Z-rated rubber.

The interior in the car is all new and looks fantastic! It was done with 59 impala style materials. New seats, door panels, tuxedo carpet, headliner, kick panels, package tray, door handles, window cranks, etc. are all new. The dash was shot in base clear. The steering wheel was restored, with new horn buttons, a new horn grill, new emblem, new paint dividers, and it was shot in base clear. The gauges were gone through and look awesome.

The windshield and vent glass are new. Door glass and rear glass are original.

The car has power windows which work great. They use a switch that works with the factory window crank. Simply lift up or down on the crank to work the power windows.

The car has working lights, signals, wipers, heat, defrost, dash lights, dummy lights, ect.

All the door seals, felts, rubbers, windshield seals, rear glass seal, weather-strip, and anything rubber has been replaced.

The car runs and dives great. Everything is nice and tight. It has had only 300 break in miles since completion. It’s fresh and ready for a new owner to enjoy!

These cars are steadily gaining in value and one of this caliber is sure to appreciate in value and be a great investment.
