Description

ONLY 21K miles. I dare you to find one with lower miles. seriously....Numbers matching 283 V8 with a 3 on the tree manual transmission. Very cool. The water pump was replaced 5 years ago and the original WP is in the trunk. All Original Sheet Metal and paint. No refinishing done anywhere on the body.I re-jetted the carb for Denver altitude. ~5800 feet but I will include the original jets it came with. Changing jets in a Rochester 2 barrel is very easy to do. I only run ethanol free gas and that has been a life-saver for this vintage machine.
Runs, Drives, and Stops straight. It's just like you just bought it from the dealer in 1964. I still have the dealer pamphlet when it was sold. Smooth clutch with no drama. The muffler and tail pipe were replaced 5 years ago with NOS parts.
It's paint is original in the factory beige creme. Only a few scratches n nicks from a lifetime of hangar, garage, and museum life. Never crashed, jumped, repaired, or misrepresented.
This car is manual steering, manual brakes, no radio, no ac. Heat works great.Just changed the oil with a new filter and installed a new battery.Tires are newer Bridgestone Radial whitewalls that are 3 years old.
If the weather holds out, you could fly n' drive this home.
The Belair spent most of it's pampered life living in a private hanger in Portland, Oregon. The 2nd owner acquired this car approximately 12 years ago and had it presented in his museum in Hood River, Oregon. He drove it a few times a year but nothing beyond 20-40 miles at a time.Though a connection of acquaintances, It was offered for sale to me and I have enjoyed it since then. I have gotten very good at returning the constant compliments of thumbs up, "nice car", and 'wow is that clean' more times than I can count. Don't plan on leaving gas stations quickly as this car is a nostalgia conversation magnet.
I selling this to help pay off hospital bills from a fight our family lost to cancer. I would be keeping this car otherwise.
Cash talks BS walks. Clear title in hand.
