Description
1969 Camaro barn find recreation as a Camaro SS with as many of the original parts retained and restored as possible. Nuts and bolts full restoration and recreation with new technology through-out the car while retaining most of the original body style inside and out. Restoration done by a long-time GM mechanic and Scotts Coach Works in Phoenix, Arizona. No expense was spared with parts and labor over $140K during the 2-year long restoration completed about 5 years ago with many receipts. Today the car has less than 2000 miles since the full restoration. The car was painted date specific Hugger-Orange with full painted black stripes on the cowl induction hood and across the body, finished with 2 coats of clear to wrap the car. The interior is Black and Orange Hounds Tooth retaining much of the original look with restored or newly purchased date specific replacement parts. The engine is a GM crate 502 Ci, 502 HP with Milodon oil pan, March Serpentine Aluminum pulleys, Tremec 5 speed with a Ford 9” rear and 3.70 gears and a dual 3” flow master exhaust. The axle is a spline Moser with Baer brakes at all 4 wheels, Be-Cool Aluminum radiator and Boyd Codington custom wheels. The frame is an Chris Alston Chassisworks complete front sub frame with adjustable coil over shocks upfront and VariShock on the rear with also 1” lower leaf springs and hangers. Tubular control arms with a Mustang Rack and Pinon steering. Iditit Chrome tilt wheel, Painless wiring with Corvan Auto meter dash and Hushmat thru-out and Kenwood stereo with I-pod input.
