The previous owner had been a member of NCRS for over 20 years and had been an avid Corvette Collector since he was a young man. The owner was extremely picky about his cars and is fastidious with maintenance, detailing and care to his vehicles. >

> DESCRIPTION
> The 1967 Corvette Coupe featured here is an astounding specimen of a very original survivor low mileage type car that has been through a thorough cosmetic restoration completed about eightyears ago. The cars paint was reconditioned and the mechanical aspects of the car have been addressed as well, but this is mostly a completely original car that has simply been maintained to perfection its entire life.
> This gorgeous Goodwood Green Corvette was originally optioned with a 327-300hp Engine, Positraction, AC, Power Steering, Tinted Glass an AM/FM Radio and Aluminum Bolt-On Wheels. The car now rides on a set of reproduction high quality Bolt-Ons as the original wheels were sold years ago for a concourse car and are not with the car.
> The production date on this car was 4 October 1966. It was delivered to Truman Baker Chevrolet in Searcy, AR (See NCRS Shipping Data Report Pic). The original owner brought it to California in 1975 andwas there until I purchased it 2 years ago and brought it to ohio.. See picture of front windshield CA Inspection Sticker from 1975.
> Body and Paint
> Let's make one thing perfectly clear, the number one thing to look for in any collector piece is the finest body possible. Factory original bodies on Corvettes are nearly impossible to find these days. I have been looking at and studying and restoring Corvettes for almost 40 years and this body has to rank near the very top of the list.
> When the car was repainted it was stripped to the glass, primered, blocked judicially and painted. A lot of the original seams are still visible in the car, it was not overworked to perfection, moreover left original, clearly demonstrating just how original and untouched it is. I can see no signs of body work or damage anywhere on this car. All panels are crisp and shut-lines are nearly perfect (almost odd for a C2). Especially the notorious Coupe doors at the front that sometimes had huge gaps, even from the factory. I took closeup pictures of every door gap, hood and tops of the doors so you can clearly see what I am talking about. I would call this body a #1, especially if you like a very original look.
> Be sure to study the upper to lower panel "peaks" and note the sharpness to those lines all the way around the car.
> The paint work on this car is extremely high-caliber and was done by a discriminating shop that knew what they were doing. There is easily $ 25K +worth of high-end paint work on this automobile. There is no overspray anywhere to be found. The paint is flat and mirror-like and quite frankly is as good as it gets. All rubber and window felt appear to be like new. The original tinted window glass is intact, except for the front windshield that was replaced sometime prior to 1975 with high-quality PPG Safety Glass.
> The Chome on the car is a 9.8 out of 10, with very minimal scratches anywhere to be found. I believe the chrome bumpers may have been redone, but could be original and just in outstanding (SoCal) condition. >
> The trim and emblems are all original and not perfect, however they are perfectly awesome. Instead of cheap replicas they are wonderfully patina-ed and representative of a life spent in a garage and carefully handled. The original gas-cap door is the original lacquer paint and original paint in the crossed flags. Personally I love the look of the original unrestored cap because it shows how good the color match is to the rest of the body and has a really nice patina to the crossed-flags. Again, not perfect but far better than faux reproduction parts. >

> During the restoration, the original 300HP engine was thoroughly gone thru in terms of bringing it up to tip-top running condition. It was nicely cleaned and detailed with some painting and the addition of some 327/350 valve covers. We recently performed a compression check on the engine and found 140 -145 on all cylinders. We don't believe this engine has ever been apart and runs out as nicely as I have ever seen on a 327-300hp Vette engine. It idles smooth and does not smoke. It is a very strong running engine and almost feels like it is brand new. The Exhaust System is all brand new.
> The front-end was partially rebuilt and drives down the road straight as an arrow with no shakes, shimmy's or rattles of any kind. $1805 was spent in Sept 2012. At that time the Lower Ball Joints were replaced, as well as Tie-Rod Ends, installed new Rear Shocks and Spring Link Bushings. They also adjusted the Steering Gear Backlash, adjusted Power Steering Control Valve for equal pressure and a complete Four-Wheel Alignment.
> There is a new steel radiator currently in the car The brakes are completely rebuilt including brakes lines, rotors, calipers and pads. It brakes with authority.
> The Transmission has been serviced and may have been rebuilt in the past, but we have no documentation to support this claim. Unfortunately most of the records from the past have been lost and do not come with the car .any records I have are included in the sale. There are some receipts for recent work over the past six years.
> In 2012 the AC Compressor was replaced with clutch, filter drier, flushed
> A/C line, added oil, evacuated and recharged system. Hi pressure 220psi, low 33psi, vent temp 46 degrees.
> A Detroit Speed Electric Headlight Door Kit was put in the car in 2013. These make the headlights work smoothly and efficiently.
> The Undercarriage is completely rust-free and in very tidy condition for an original survivor car.
>
> Interior
> The Interior is almost 100% original and absolutely stunning. The Carpets were replaced sometime in the last five years. The door panels, the dash, the headliner and all interior trim is a 9.5 out of 10 and for a survivor a 10+. The gauges I think were probably removed at some point and cleaned to perfection as I just cannot imagine them being this nice after 48 years of life.
>
> I cannot adequately describe just how nice this original interior is, I will let the pictures tell the story. At the end of 2012 the seats were rebuilt with new foam and the original leather seat skins were reinstalled. Again, this goes to show just how well this car was loved and taken care of.
> All of the interior bits are exemplary in condition. Overall this interior is a strong 9+. There is a teak steering wheel on the car and it is in near perfect condition. Teak was not an option in 1967 but it sure looks gorgeous with the Saddle Leather Interior. showing were just for display purposes and .
> The Interior Door Sils are new and are very high quality.
> A Rare Goodwood Green AC Coupe in near #1 Condition. One of 3788 factory Air Cars in 1967. The car is simply stunning.
> Everything on this little gem is exceptional. It runs and drives like a dream. It feels almost brand new. You will not find a nicer body & paint, ride and mechanical survivor specimen in my estimation.
> This is a car that would be a great show car or just a gorgeous and unique driver for cross-country driving or rallies.
