Roman Red w/Red interior, 245/283hp 4-spd manual transmission. The first generation Corvette actually had quite a few iterations. Four to be exact. The ’53-’55, ’56-’57, ’58-’60 and ’61-’62. Everyone has their favorite, but the general consensus is that the ’58-’60’s are the most sought-after. They were longer and wider than the previous design and featured quad headlights for the first time on a Corvette. The ’58 is, of course, the most coveted by collectors, with it’s one year o...nly chrome trunk spears and louvered hood. For ’59-and ’60, the “gingerbread” was removed, but the body design remained the same and considered a cleaner, less busy look all around. But, as they say – to each his (or her) own! To us, they’re all great looking! This very sharp ’60 came to us from a good client out in Central CA. It’s been frame-on restored and features a correct 283/245hp dual quad small block. this was the more user friendly hydraulic lifter version. And required a bit less maintenance than it’s slightly more powerful, solid lifter brother. The Roman Red paint shines bright with the White coves adding a nice contrast. The matching Red interior is in excellent shape and is equipped with an aftermarket am/fm radio. It’s just been serviced and runs and drives like a champ! It also comes with both hard and soft tops.
