Description

Quintin Brothers Auto and Performance is a family run shop from Williston Vermont. We have always wanted to build a car for SEMA. This year we set a plan to build the car and made some phone calls. First contact was Bernal Auto Style to make us a few renderings to present to clients. We passed the image around and got in contact with Fesler Built, they make flush mount glass and lots of other classic car parts including billet dress up items like tail lights, door handles, fog lights and more! We made great friends with the guys at Fesler and made a plan to be the booth car for Fesler at the 2017 SEMA show. Now the stress begins. Funding the build, the timeline of only 6 months to build this car as well as keeping our shop busy. We are also entered in the Battle Of The Builders! Now lets get the build going!
The body was purchased from Dynacorn Bodies. The bodywork and beautiful WRB blue paint was done by Garrett and Ryan at RPM VT. From front to back you will see carbon accents from Anvil Auto. We wanted to mix some new school into the oldschool, so we purchased a 6th generation camaro
ZL1 center console to base the full custom console off from.. With the help of Mike Desrocher we got the car all wired up and working flawlessly. TMI interiors provided the seats and trunk insert, The Recovery Room helped us wrap interior panels and build a package tray.
No interior is complete without a cranking stereo so Creative Sound helped us with a complete JLAudio sound system to keep the tunes cranking! To keep you comfortable while singing your favorite tunes we installed a Restomod Air Bluetooth Heat and A/C sytem run off a IPad in a custom made dash mount.
Our power plant of choice is a crate LS3, plenty of power right out of the box. Not for us though, we decided to up the cam shaft to a Comp unit from Texas Speed and Performance. Then we decided that wouldn't be enough so we contacted Procharger for their brand new D1X kit! Now the fun has begun! We mated that to a 4l80e trans and set it in a Roaster Shop SPEC chassis. The chassis suspension parts were powdercoated a nice semi gloss black by Vermont Powdercoating. The engine is brought to life with a PSI engine wiring conversion harness and a custom tune by Brady here in house at Quintin Brothers. Cooling is taken care of by a AFCO radiator held in a AutoRad radiator support. The exhaust can be heard through our custom made Black Widow Widowmaker exhaust. We finished up the final look of the car with a beuatiful set of Forgeline DE3C wheels in transparent red finish.
We would like to Thank everyone that helped us with the build of this car! Pete, Tim, Brady, Chris Q, Cole, Chris C, Andrew, Shawn, Mike and Everyone that got us parts, lended a hand putting things together, East coast printers for our show shirts and especially our wives! EXTERIOR:
- Full Dynacorn brand new body- This is the actual shell of the car- brand new body with a full legal vin- nothing 1968 on this one!
- The whole car is custom pained in World Rally Blue with added flake in the finish with a full metallic black stripe.

-FESLER door panels with custom modifications done to move speakers down to kick panels and out of the doors- finished in black/suede and red stitch to accent the rest of the interior -FESLER black billet anodized door armrests and inside door handles -Over 100sq ft of Dynamat throughout the car for the best sound and heat resistance around- Need to keep the heat and noise out and the music in!
-100% carbon fiber Racepak gauge cluster -Full Racepak IQ3 street dash system with everything that your brand new
2017 Corvette has for gauges and monitors!
-TMI sport XR front and rear seats to match the rest of the full custom interior -TMI sport XR trunk inserts- This covers all the ugly in the truck and gives it a real nice finished look to accent the interior!
-TMI full suede headliner
-TMI suede sunvisors
-Simpson seat belts to add to the red accent and specific look of the car that we were going for.
-Complete Resto-Mod air BANTAM 2 ultra blue tooth climate control system that is controlled with the IPAD Mini 4 mounted in the dash.
-Resto-Mod air billet red and black climate vents throughout the entire car -Custom built shallow glove box setup -Custom hand made IPAD mount to hold the IPAD mini 4 that controls all climate control and the full JL audio stereo system.
-Custom center console based off a 2017 Camaro ZL1 console but refined and rebuilt to work in this sweet camaro!

Few last words... This car was entered into the Battle of the Builders at SEMA and out of the 320+ cars entered, this one made it down to the final 70 in all the SEMA! We made a huge impact out there with the car, so it is well known with some very large companies! Ken Lingenfelter came over and picked it as one of his 3 favorite cars at SEMA 2017! We are currently working on a feature in Super Chevy and the publicity for this car is not going to stop there! We planned to make a huge impact and that is what we intend to keep doing.
