Other notes and comments - Very nicely restored 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop. TheVIN lets you know it was a V8 car and a real Bel Air from the factory. The car is as straight as canbe with great gaps. A great paint job that has been cut and buffed to a mirror shine, all trim isexcellent and set off with Weld wheels. The restoration seems to have touched every piece ofthis car and it is all done very well with binders full of documentation to verify the workperformed. All the options you could want with A/C, PS, PB, tilt, etc.See the next page for appraised amount. With the inspection performed above, I was able to look at the current market and find a few comparable vehicles.Other 1957 Bel Airs in restored condition have asking prices from $45,000 - $70,000. Recent auction results showa range of $45,000 - $55,000 being more in line with what these cars are actually bringing in the market.Hagerty shows an average book value of $40,300.NADA shows: Low - $23,085, Average - $44,730, High - $79,025
With all of that in mind, I appraise the vehicle mentioned above at:$52,000 – Fair Market Value
