Description

1976 CHEVROLET SILVERADO LONG BED, second year of the Silverado, original sheet metal except for hood and passengers fender. Truck came with AC, I have compressor and all brackets. 72,557 original miles. I believe it is a mostly original interior, although seat is starting to fray and dash has cracks. Still has the original radio. Southern truck, I have owned for 1 year, only drove a few times, put less than 200 miles on it since purchase. I planned on keeping this truck a long time, but things changed and now I must sell to make room. The previous owner just had a crate 350 engine put in and rebuilt the TH350 automatic with a shift kit, also new front rotors and brake pads and front and rear shocks. This truck runs, shifts, sounds awesome. He owned it for many years and kept it at his vacation house. I have receipts from his repairs and maintenance over the years. The following is a list of the parts I just had replaced in the last year, I have a stack of receipts a half inch thick from Jegs, Summit etc. AGAIN ALL PARTS ARE BRAND SPANKING NEW WITH ONLY 200 MILES ON THEM!!2" STEEL COWL HOOD, EDELBROCK 1506 CARBURETOR, EDELBROCK PERFORMER ALUMINUM INTAKE MANIFOLD, CHEVROLET PERFORMANCE VALVE COVERS AND AIR CLEANER, CHEVROLET PERFORMANCE DISTRIBUTOR #96440806, JEGS CERAMIC COATED LONG TUBE HEADERS, PYPES 2 1/2" X-PIPE, STARTER, WATER PUMP, FUEL PUMP, POWER STEERING PUMP, ALTERNATOR, BELTS, HOSES, RADIATOR, BATTERY TRAY, RH WHEEL WELL, WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP, WIPERS, OIL, FRONT SWAY BAR BUSHINGS, MOTOR MOUNTS, TRANSMISSION MOUNT, FABRICATED TRANSMISSION CROSS MEMBER, POLISHED ALUMINUM TRANSMISSION PAN WITH LUBE LOCKER GASKET, REAR DIFF FLUID CHANGE AND GASKET, GM 15X6 AND 15X8 RALLY WHEELS AND CENTER CAPS, BFG SILVERTOWN 31" TALL REAR TIRES, BFG RADIALS UP FRONT, REAR DRUMS AND SHOES, WHEEL CYLS, SPARK PLUGS AND 8MM WIRES, QUARTZ CLOCK CONVERSION (keeps perfect time, LEATHER STITCHED STEERING WHEEL COVER, IGNITION SWITCH AND CYL, DRIVERS SIDE ROCKER PANEL, BED LINER, BLOWER MOTOR, FLOOR MATS.I am sure I missed some small stuff, but that's mostly it. The cab corners are good, It will need a RH rocker at some time, it has some rust on the under side. The bed has some small spots of rust behind rear wheels and in bed itself, but can easily be fixed. I cleaned, sanded, seam-sealed and painted both inside doors and door jams along with the fire wall. The under side of this truck was already very clean and original. It has the original undercoat that is as hard as cement. I cleaned the complete under side of this truck from bumper to bumper, not a speck of dirt on the whole vehicle. It has been very hard for me not to take it out! Floors, fenders, doors, cab, all good NO RUST. There is a dent in the passengers fender that needs to be pushed out and the speedometer reads a little fast, I think it needs the gear changed in the transmission, I haven't had the time to get to it and now I have to sell. But I have to say this truck runs perfectly; I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. If I was to keep it I was going to re-build the front suspension, it drives straight and stops just fine, but some of the parts are still original. Just a good idea to get it done soon, also I would install a quick ratio steering gear.I am in ROCK HILL, SOUTH CAROLINA. Clean title in hand. PAY-PAL PREFERRED unless otherwise discussed before auction ends, $500 deposit required within 24 hours of end of sale, buyer will arrange any and all shipping of vehicle, I WILL NOT SHIP! VEHICLE SOLD AS IS.HARLEY DAVIDSON, GMC, SQUARE BODY

On Feb-05-18 at 05:13:39 PST, seller added the following information:

Its hard to tell in photos but one side RH sits a little lower than LH side, again I think this is because its old and the coil springs should be replaced. I was going to lower the the truck a few inches all around, but then I stopped working on it when I knew I had to sell because of my new project I have to make room for.
