Description

Mileage, it needs to be pointed out again, is around 600 miles on a brand new LS3. Also I am NOT confused as to what it is, Its a 1986 GMC JIMMY. I am trying to sell it so I put Chevy Blazer figuring more ppl would see it if I put it on eBay that way. If your a timid person don't even think about it. If your a showoff it will kill you or someone else. If you understand what it is, what it can do, and understand how dangerous this is.... that is the starting point. I am asking 55 thousand. It is worth way more. I know that's a lot of money. I am sorry I cant sell it cheaper I really am. But the truth is I spent years on this. That's why its the way it is. Could it be better? Sure... These things are never really done. There will always be the next thing to work on... Plenty of things left that a person could do to add there own stamp to this K5. I will say when I started it ... It wasn't a old hacked up k5. It was clean when I bought it. So nice most of you would never have done anything to it. In fact some of you would say I ruined a real nice 86 GMC JIMMY. I say? That would be true if I half assed it like 90% of them. In fact a 1986 GMC JIMMY is NOT my cup of tea. I never ever saw this as that. I always saw it bigger stronger and built to Get r Done. So I put my head down and started down a path and this is where it ended for me. It had a clean good original 350 in it. Jimmy was rust free. I just didn't want another Jeep or Toyota like everyone else at the time....Yea I know now you can see the Jeeps but when I started this.... The thought of a Jeep was expensive to build up... lol. I guess in the end if I would have built a Jeep it would have been a crazy Jeep. Now its more about reality and practicality, then than it was when I built it.... Well I went a little crazy on this project. I knew I was going to put in a LS didn't plan on a new LS3 from chevy though at the cost of 13.5k...that's b4 install... It was a pain getting it to pass the California bar but it did and its got the tag showing its cal emisions legal. It is a blast to drive ppl freak out everywhere. You need to pay attention at all times. You really will kill yourself or someone else if you text and drive this. So if that's you DONT buy it. I don't care how important that call is that stupid phone isn't worth your life or someone else's. Why am I selling it. Good question. Truth is its hard ... I know when this is gone its gone. I couldn't build another if I wanted. Too much time and money for me to do again. I live in Sacramento. I don't get out with it. Its not because I am worried about it. Its because about the same time this was done, I lost my ability to take off for a couple days at will or without much notice. My me time is gone. I was needed as a full time caretaker. That's life. Its OK I have no regrets. That's why its so clean. I am sure I would put some protection around the engine to keep it cleaner from trail dirt mud and whatever. I would prolly get skid plates under it even though most ppl would never need it. I am sure I would at some point. I only have one fear.... I have a friend who builds racing engines. He built a 427 cobra engine for a guy with a kit cobra. It was a kit cobra but that engine was OMG serious. The guy went out and killed himself in it within a week of getting it back in his car. He wasn't a kid. But he was a cocky rich guy. He actually died on a track course practicing laps. He couldn't handle the power lost control and that was that. My friend changed after that. He still builds engines but is a lot more selective. True story, anyhow whoever buys THIS K5 needs to NEVER take it for granted. You will kill someone. You CANT space out and swerve out of your lane you will have a very very bad day. I just want it to be crystal clear this is just what it looks like. I promise you 47s are huge in the pics but bigger in real life. In fact in real life this is a whole lot bigger then the pictures make it look. It is a Monster JIMMY. I am sure by now I have lost almost all of you serious potential buyers. Its OK with me I would rather you not waste your time or mine on a crazy Monster 4x4 you don't want after you come to your senses. This is for the 5 or 6 Alfa males who want what NO ONE else can have. This is an unbelievable machine. Your heart will beat a lil harder as you jump in and start it up, you wont need coffee. You will already be smiling as you put Bad to the Bone Thouroughgood in. Oh yea I forgot to tell you its got a KICK ASS Stereo. Just take my word on it. This is like a race engine once it leaves my house its yours period. What you do with it or to it is on you. I know what your getting. Its up to you to keep it that way and be safe. This is for the guy who wants a Bad to the Bone pro built 4x4 who doesn't have 4 years to waste building it. I hope you have as much fun in it as I did building it.
