Description

I built this truck for myself. It was started in 1994. I picked the best parts from 4 trucks I had, and bought absolutely perfect cab from Kansas. The truck was completely disassembled and built back with best pieces I had, and the Kansas cab. I built the bed myself, with help from an expert fabricator friend. My cousin, who has been a professional mechanic for about 40 years, seen in one of the pictures, helped with the wiring, assembly, and fabrication. The reason I spent 19 years to build, was I wanted it to be as good as I could get it, because it was for me. There were times when it would sit 6 months to year, because finances would get short. The frame was mated with 73 Nova sub-frame narrowed 2", and all bushings, ball joints, and tie rods replaced, along with rebuilt power steering 12:1 box. I used a 7/8" Addco front sway bar. Rear end was a completely re-built 92 Camaro 3.08 Limited Slip, and 28 spline axles. The front brakes are C4 Vette with 4 caliper pistons, and rear brakes are 2001 Camaro disc with emergency brake shoes in center of rotor, which work. The engine is 350 type Ramjet engine, with LT4 Vette cam, port matched vortec heads, 25lb. SVO/Bosch blue top injectors, and adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I managed to shoe-horn in cold air system up into the back part of grill. The transmission is 2002 4L60E that was re-built and shift kit, Vette servo, and extra clutches were added. I used 041 ECM/harness from 2002 Express Van. An excellent computer system that is very tunable. The stock Ramjet from GM is advertised at 350HP, but I would guess this one puts out 375-400 HP. Exhaust pipes are 2.5" all way back with X pipe installed. Mufflers are Magnaflow. Aluminum radiator with rear shroud and 2 fans mounted with 1 extra fan in front keeps it cool. It really runs sweet in the light pickup.Windows are black shaded and power operated. Windshield is butt installed in middle, with glass trimmed to black around edge and installed like late model trucks. All new rubber and custom made door rubbers were installed. No water leaks anywhere. Specialty Wipers, with intermediate speed mounted above windshield in original place. Both stock side mirrors, and billet aluminum rear view mirror installed. Dash had Tach mounted on dash as retro 60's cars, with billet gauge insert with VDO gauges installed. Hurricane HVAC with defrost mounted under dash on firewall. A Kenwood stero/CD player w/4 speakers mounted in dash.Dash and interior is painted GM gray with Navajo Indian blanket with extra foam covering original seat. The gas tank was removed from under seat to make storage area, and S10 Blazer 18 gallon tank with LT1 electric fuel pump mounted under rear of frame where spare went. Cup-holders that fold up and down are mounted on doors.Paint is a dark blue from 05 Chevy truck, and fenders are black. A hidden frame mounted trailer hitch is behind tag, and works perfect.8"X16" American Tourque Thrust wheels are mounted with Uniroyal 235X55-16. It takes 16" wheels to clear the big Vette brakes.New door hinges, handles, mirrors, and all other hardware installed w/46 outside door lock. A Lokar floor shifter is installed.New bed with bed liner inside, with new yellow pine wood in poly-urethane, new stainless strips, 41-48 Chevy LED taillights and LED backup lights mounted on rear pan under bed. Please let me know if you need any other information. I have several pictures during build if needed.I built this for me, but health problems require me to dispose of some vehicles. I also have a mostly finished 58 Vette that will be for sale. Not able to finish it also. Thanks for looking and reading this ad. I hope truck goes to good owner. If you are in Georgia, the 41 GA tag will go with it.Your responsibility to pick up at my home or have pickup arranged after payment.
