Description

"Polished" would be a good one-word description for this truck. Outside, inside, and under the hood, it has been upgraded, detailed, and yes, polished, to a high gloss. Pickups are more popular than ever these days and builds like this are one reason why. Full disclosure: Several buffing wheels were harmed in the building of this ride.
The orange paint on this truck is awesome, really highlighting the curves and creases of this popular body style. Up front, a simple grill is surrounded by nice brightwork and complimented by the chrome bumper. Looking up you notice the nice little bump of the cowl induction hood with the emblem hinting at what lurks below it. You can't polish rubber, but the seals on the windshield, windows, and doors shine, because they're all new. The door handles, mirrors, rear bumper and sweet Duolamp tail lights also shine like new, because they are too. Drop the tailgate with the Chevrolet letters that are painted in chrome, and take a look at the effort spent on the bed. Step sides have clean looking inner panels to begin with, but these received the same love that the rest of the truck did, and are complimented by the beautifully finished wood and trim. Set this all on Billet Specialties center spin style wheels for a great look to a classic Chevy truck.
You may want to make sure you have your sunglasses on if it's a sunny day when you open the door to check out the interior. Those chromed door panels are really striking! The black with orange houndstooth bench seat is comfortable and invites you right in. There you are greeted by a beautiful three spoke steering wheel with a bow tie horn button mounted on a tilt steering column. Behind it are stock gauges that look awesome, because, of course, the bezels are polished. In the center of the dash is a chromed vent, just to stay in character. A Pioneer head unit, which is iPod compatible, pumps through Pioneer speakers in the kick panels. Below the stereo are the ventilation controls, including for the R-134A air conditioning, and below those is a control panel for the air ride suspension on this truck.
Open the hood and take a peek at this killer motor. It's a 383 Stroker V-8, with an MSD ignition system from module to plugs. Topping that powerful core is a Jim Inglese 8-Stack Weber carburetor system with chrome velocity stacks. It looks awesome, and it is awesome. The rest of the engine compartment is dressed for the show too. The inner fender wells and firewall shine like the outside of the body, and, let's use that word again here, because almost everything is polished and shines like a mirror in this engine compartment. Covers for the radiator and fan shroud, the A/C compressor and alternator, brake master cylinder and booster, valve covers and the headers too. There are also braided fuel lines and billet pulleys to help get the job done, and an automatic trans gets all that power back to a 12-bolt rear end. 275/60R16 tires in the rear, and 235/70R16s in the front, sit on that air ride suspension to give the truck a nice stance.
Come on down and check out this special C-10. Bring your sunglasses with you, then bring this truck home with you.
