Description

Add a little color to your life with this '56 Bel Air. It grabs your attention with the orange and yellow paint, then keeps your attention with the style of the first class interior full of modern comforts and conveniences. Drop in a built 454 with some suspension upgrades, and you have a powerful show and go combination.
Big chrome bumpers and rockets on the hood may be a couple of the reasons these cars have been so endlessly popular. The bumpers, and all the chrome, look like new on this car. Another possible reason for their popularity could be that they look so good in two tone paint, and the orange with yellow on this car really highlight the cars lines beautifully. Chrome brightwork surrounds the yellow that starts on the front fenders and runs down the side of the car echoing the shape of the rocket on the hood, then carries the yellow around to the trunk and back of the car. Taillights are set in the ends of the fins and trimmed in chrome. Red white and blue emblems front and rear, and Bel Air emblems on the fenders reinforce that this car is all American. Underpinning all that color, are some pretty unique, attention-grabbing, TSW wheels.
Open the door and step inside for lots of treats that are bound to please you. First, there is a bench seat with a twist. Side bolsters along with a center arm rest offer a bit of bucket seat like support and are upholstered in nice quality leather. Door panels with power windows carry on the leather theme with an added tweed accent and billet controls for the door handles and window cranks. Behind the Lecarra leather wrapped steering wheel topping a chromed column, is a dash board that is a work of art. A Mooneyes tach is a sweet touch, and Classic brand instruments keep accurate tabs on critical functions. There is lots of stunning, polished metal, including the glove box and a Chevy bowtie in the center. Another treat is the iPod compatible JVC stereo and DVD unit in the dash which pumps sound out through four speakers in the rear deck and two more in the front. The windows have a nice smoke tint to them, and the trunk is trimmed out as nicely as the interior so even your luggage is surrounded by luxury.
With the standard set by the paint and interior, the engine compartment and drivetrain had to be something special too. Before the engine went in, the firewall was smoothed, and dressed up, with pinstriping. The 454 itself is both pumped up, and dressed up. A triangular March Performance air filter looks great and lets you see the polished high ram intake with a Demon 4bbl carb sitting on top of it. Bowtie valve covers along with an aluminum accessory mounting system are also polished nicely and compliment the chromed master cylinder, brake booster, and alternator. Keeping things cool, and also looking cool, are an aluminum radiator and A/C condenser. Ceramic coated headers and an MSD blaster ignition round out the engine mods. All that go power runs back through a three-speed automatic transmission, and the whoa power is handled by four-wheel disc brakes. The rubber meets the road through 245/45/ZR18s mounted on those sweet TSW wheels all around.
Come on down and take a look at this attention-grabbing car. But grab your sunglasses on the way out your door. You may want them.
