1969 C/10 Purchased new in 1969 by Muff's auto electric service for use as a shop truck for many years . Then it was sold . Along comes 2013 and Shallon Broussard 2 time Ihra div 4 champion came across it and bought it . Muff's was still barely on the doors so shallon's dad Shawn looked them up and the are still in business so he called and spoke with them and asked if he could reletter the truck and they said yes and were excited to here it was still around. Originally a straight six wit...h three on the tree would not cut it for shallo, so Popeyes Rod Shop in Carencro, La. was called upon to make it go and look cool. It was converted to five lug with disk brakes in the fron, it was lower 5" in the front and 7" in the rear along with a c- notch so it would ride really well. 17" American racing five spokes were installed with 215/55R17 in the front and 275/50R17 in the rear. For go they went with a 5.3 ls with a ls6 intake and a custom tune . Trans is a fresh built 4L60 with a lokar shifter complete new wiring harness by American auto wire was installed along with a PSI engine harness. New classic industry gauges were also installed. New champion aluminum radiator, aluminum gas tank mounted under bed between frame rails .kwik performance brackets were used for all accessories such as p/, al, ant a/c compressor along wit a new vintage air and heat unit was installed. LED taillights nice polished Patina paint, not fake Patina. One small rust spot on pass. side rocker as seen in picture. Truck was driven to goodguys Fort Worth Tx which is about a seven hour drive at 75 mph and averaged over 20 mpg and did the same on the way back, you can drive this truck anywhere you want with no worries. Mileage is exempt
