Description

Corvettes history overflows with significant milestones and accomplishments, not the least of which was reaching its 35th year as America's sports car, 4 years into the development off the 4th generation that would mature over 16 years and lead to a new era of Corvette Supremacy. The 35th Anniversary Corvette showcased the tremendous technological advances made by the fourth generation. Chevrolet celebrated Corvette's 35th Anniversary in high Style with a nod to the Waldorf Astoria debut of the original Motorola car, raising the curtain on it at the New York Auto Show on April 1, 1988. The coupe only 35th Anniversary Edition, officially listed as RPO Z01, was finished in white with matching door handles, mirrors, body side moldings and aluminum wheels, with a contrasting black roll hoop and a dark tinted acrylic roof panel. further identified by special 35th Anniversary badges on the front fenders, the car's white leather interior featured duel 6-way power sport seats with 35th Anniversary Edition embroidered head rests, power windows and heated mirrors, electronic air conditioning control, Delco Bose AM/FM audio system and a special numbered plaque mounted on the console. Chevrolet announced a production limit of 2000 which eventually grew to 2050. There were only 180 made in stick shift. As you can see this is a very very rare collectible Corvette with the original window sticker and 6050 original miles on it! There are a lot of low-mileage ones out there but they are automatic transmission, I don't think there is one with stick shift and low mileage like this anywhere in the world! Therefore I'm asking more money than if it was a automatic transmission one!! Unrestored with 6050 original miles, this is another time capsule worth a lot of money for the true collector! This car has been garage kept. Feel free to make any reasonable offers but this beauty will not let go cheap due to its Rarity and manual transmission.
