Description

With a high-quality restoration, upgraded A/C interior, and a sweet 480+hp stroker V8 under the hood, this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute is the cool green coupe that has been built to fill everyone else with envy.
Fathom Green is a terrific factory color. It has the kind of dark appearance that will look like black when you're out for a midnight cruise. But when the sunshine hits it, the green releases a much deeper presence that instantly grabs attention. That's especially true on such a well restored example as this one (we have over $50k in receipts) that takes advantage of modern clear coat paint. The shiny paint works with super straight bodywork to offer a combination that truly stands out on arguably the most iconic body style for the Camaro. The Coca-Cola bottle design lines are accented by all the right SS features, including the cowl induction hood, deep front air dam, D80 full-length rear spoilers, and an unmistakable white Z28 dual stripes that instantly distinguish a speedy Camaro. Of course, it wouldn't be a true 60s machine without plenty of chrome on everything, from the form-fitting bumpers to the 15-inch Rally wheels.
Inside is everything that makes a Camaro great. High-back bucket seats, a horseshoe shifter, center console, quad auxiliary gauges, and even a hint of premium wood paneling to break up the black motif. You can really tell there has been a solid investment in everything from carpeting to headliner to keep this coupe feeling fresh. Plus, there are terrific modern upgrades like the Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input and a full set of Alpine speakers. There's even R134a air conditioning to keep you feeling as cool as you look in this coupe. But your favorite features are what keep this a true driver's machine. That's why the dual spoke steering wheel gives you a clear view to watch the large speedo and tach do their dance.
Under the hood is a mean and clean engine bay that looks like it's ready for battle. After all, the dark inner fender walls funnel your attention to all the polished performance components like the big aluminum radiator, March pulleys, steel braided hoses, and CNC Motorsports valve covers. That last one should also clue everyone in on how impressive this build is. The masters at CNC started with a 383 crate motor, and they fortified and enhanced it with components like a Lunati Sledgehammer crank, Scat forged pro comp rods, Mahle flat top pistons, Mellings high volume oil pump, RHS Pro Action cast iron heads, double roller timing chain, and Comp Cams top end with hydraulic roller, lifters, and rockers. It inhales deeply with an AED HO-series 650 CFM four-barred carburetor and crosswind air gap Intake. It exhales with thunderous authority as long tube headers feed the three-inch H-pipe dual exhaust. Getting all of this to the ground is a stout TH400 three-speed automatic transmission with mild stall for optimal power band. That feeds a study Moser rear end with 33 spline axles, Positraction, and 3.73 gears for outstanding takeoffs. Plus, you get all the other right upgrades, like a rebuilt front end, frame connectors, power steering, and a Right Stuff four-wheel disc brake package.
Complete with the $50k+ build receipt file, this is the classic that was built to eat the streets and wow car show judges. A total package like this wrapped around iconic sheet metal is a rarity, so don't let it slip away. Call now!
