Description

1950 Chevy
Up for auction is a bad ass no expense spared Chevy pickup. This LS powered 52 has killer patina, perfect stance, and was built right!
This is not an amateur built or thrown together budget build like alot of these trucks are. This truck was built with all quality parts and craftsmanship. No corners cut with this one.
This is a fully built, frame off truck with new everything, and all high end parts. With the exception of the solid original body, the rest of the truck is all new. There is a LOT of money and time in this truck!
The chassis on this truck is very nice. It was done by aprofessionallychassis shop and it shows. No expense was spared. It is fully boxed from front to rear. The front end is mustang II. It has beefy 1 1/4" tubular upper and lower control arms, drop spindles, HD ball joints, new shocks, tie rods, ect. Its all new.
The rear suspension features a triangulated 4 link, 9" step notch, custom fabbed shock mount, bag mounts, and cross-member.
The rear end is a new Ford 9" housing, with a 3.50 gear limited slip, and currie axles. Custom built driveshaft with new u joint.
The truck has a n 3" dual all stainless steel exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series SS mufflers and V-band clamps. It sounds awesome, not poppy or cackely, very smooth tone.
After the chassis was completed the frame was cleaned to bare metal, prepped, and painted satin black. The rear end housing, 4 link bars, and some other parts were finished in gloss black. It looks very nice.
The truck has full adjustable Accuair air ride. It will lay the running boards with all the way down on the ground.
The truck has 4 wheel power disc brakes, 11" front and rear. It has all stainless braided lines, new master cyliner, booster, and adjustable proportioning valve.
The truck has an aluminum head LQ4 6.0 that runs awesome. This truck hauls ass. I have owned many LS powered early trucks, and none run as hard as this truck does. The 3.50 gear ratio is a perfect setup for these trucks with the 4l60e overdrive trans. The truck doesnt leak, knock, smoke, make any engine noises. The tranny shifts smooth and firm. The truck starts easy and runs cool. It has new belt, hoses, motor mounts, trans mount, trans yolk, plugs, wires, etc.
The truck has a complete new wiring harness from front to rear. It has a kit from Current Performance designed specifically for this truck, along with a Current Performance Vortec stand alone harnes for the LS. Almost $1200 just for the wiring, not including labor.
The cooling system consists of a Griffin Racing radiator, aluminum overflow tank, electric fan with speed switch controller in the cab, (you can set the temp the fan kicks), stainless hard coolant pipes with AN fittings and new silicone couplers.
The truck has a new fuel tank, Walbro pump, stainless braided fuel lines, new filters, and all AN fittings.
The interior of the truck has new seat cover, seat foam. new door panels, new headliner, and new factory rubber mat. New dolphin gauges were installed. A new tilt column was installed with a new steering wheel. The dash and the rest of the interior is original paint and has nice patina.
The truck has working headlights, taillights, turn signals, and all gauges.
Every piece of glass is new, along with all the window seals, and vent window seals, are new. New weatherstripping and felt was installed in the doors.
This was a solid original 1 owner truck prior to the build. The truck has a new custom floor and trans tunnel. Awesome original patina! The old Laquer paint was buffed and polished and looks amazing.
Every piece of chrome on the outside of this truck is new, including front and rear bumpers, grill, headlight rings, door handles, hood emblem. side emblems, tailgate chains, wiper blades and arms, and tail lights.
The wheels are Wheel Vintuque smoothies wrapped in new Coker wide whites. Factory styled caps and ribbed trim rings complete the look.
The suspension features an Accuair vu4 manifold, Accuair controller, Aluminum tank, dual viair compressors with custom mounts on the frame rails.
This truck is a blast to drive and is scary fast. It has had only 250 test miles since completed and performs nicely. It is ready for you to hop in and enjoy. The works has been done, and done properly. Not many other there for sale that were built like this one. Here is your opportunity to own a very cool truck.
