1941 Chevy Pickup Rat Rod
Description
Up for auction is a very rare 1941 Chevy 1/2 ton shortbed truck. Original CA truck from here in the central valley. Truck was a nice barn find all original truck. Up front a 1991 Chevy Caprice suspension was welded up to original frame. And in the back a 1991 Chevy Caprice rear end is bolted up to original leaf springs. Motor and trans are also out of 1991 Chevy Caprice. Motor is a very strong running small block V8 that is changed over to a four barrel carburator. Has a smooth shifting automatic 700R4 transmission. New dual exhaust. Fuel tank is relocated under bed. Inside of cab has been painted with HotRod Flatz Olive Brown. Has all new interior. Has power steering that makes truck easy to drive. Has power disc brakes up front and drums in rear to give you good stopping power. Wiring has been upgraded with a 12V wire harness. Original gauges are not hooked up and most likely wont work but a temp, Oil pressure, and voltage gauges will be installed before truck ships out. All glass is the original glass. Cab has some rot on back panel under rear windshield and lower front cab corners but floors and rear cab corners are very solid. Bed has alot of rot and has a new wood floor. Truck is a real head-turner. You can drive this truck the way it is or do a full restoration. Truck is being sold as is and I reserve the right to end auction early as it is for sale locally.
