1967 Chevy Camaro Convertible Project Car
Description
This is mid project. The engine and transmission is NOT matched to the car. I am actually not sure if the engine we have is even a 327. Car was originally equipped with a 327 and an automatic transmission. The car didn't have power brakes, power steering or Air conditioning.
The seats are there and actually in fair condition, they just need a good clean up and maybe some minor repairs here and there. The gas tank has been pulled but again not sure if it has been cleaned out or not. This is missing several parts, notably the rear tail lights, trunk lock mechanism, rear shocks, gear shifter, radiator and possibly more.
The rear window on the convertible top is brittle, yellow and has several cuts to it, the vinyl top itself is in good condition. However the latches to keep it secured down are not there.
The dash is in good condition, no major cracks, same with the gauges and steering wheel.
The rear quarter panels have been replaced and welded in, some of the weld points need to be cleaned up as well. There is body filler in both rear quarters that needs to be either knocked out and redone or cleaned up.
We want to make sure the buyer understands this is a project car and that there is a long way to go to finish this out, however this will be a fun weekend driver or a great shell for hot rod retro fit.
Please only serious buyers, the car is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and is available for inspection. Final payment is to be by bank wire or cash in person. No check payments or credit cards are accepted for full payment.
