MUST SALE: 1985 Chevrolet Scottsdale 4wd, 305 4 barrel, Automatic, long bed,
I bought it in Feb. 2012 from a dealer in Kentucky. they had gotten it from a car collector auction where it had been sitting with 40 other vehicles. Having sat for a while there was a lot of bugs to be worked out to get it where it could be a dependable driver again. I have replaced the brakes, hoses, water pump, starter, had the top end of the motor rebuilt, transmission serviced, new u-joints, new ball joints, bearings, in the front end, new seals, bearings in the rear end, new true dual exhaust (no converter) new tires, new dash, everything works on it including air conditioner. this is one of the nicest square body trucks in the area, and always gets lots of looks and compliments. the only issue she has right now is the cab corners are starting to rust out other than that there is no other rust areas on the entire truck.
to be honest she is my baby and hate to sell it but I am separating from my spouse and wont be able to take it along with me. I have set a very low reserve on it....I did pay to have it professionally appraised for insurance and it is appraised as it sits at $7,800.00.....I am realistic and do not expect to getover near that amount so do not think I value my truck at more than she is worth. I just need to sell it as quickly as possible so my loss is your gain. I would not hesitate to get in it and drive it across country that is how dependable she is.....
