This Chevrolet C-10 Silverado is being relisted due to a zero feedback bidder who neither contacted me nor responded to any of my attempts to reach out after the auction. This is not a game...please only bid if you can and will honor your bid. Let's try this again...
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions cafefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1987 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado. If you're looking at this listing, you probably know that good old trucks are getting very hard to find. I was very lucky to come across this truck. It was a fresh NEW CHEVY TRADE from a local Chevrolet dealer right here in Central PA. I would rate the exterior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this truck shows the normal patina and age you'd expect. It is finished in two tone brown over tan. It looks like the front end may have been repainted some time ago as it shines better than the rest of the truck. The body is straight. You've got the normal surface rust visible on the bed and doors. The tockers look good. The door bottoms show some rust and you'll need new cab corners and front inner fenders, too...if you are looking to restore it. The underside looks good. The frame, crossmembers and body mounts are all solid. The tail gate is dented, but opens and closes easily. The bed itself looks to be in good shape for its age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory rallye wheels look good and are wrapped in a matching set of Goodyear's with deep tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully as this is a very original truck. It could be driven daily and reliably the way it is...or it could be a very solid foundation for a restoration.
I would also rate the interior of this C-10 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Everything inside the cab looks to be completely original, right down to the original owners manuals. Pride in ownership shows throughout this truck. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show some age but are acceptable. The cloth bench seat is comfortable and shows almost no wear. The dash has a few cracks from age, which is to be expected. The cloth to the headliner is down. Everything in the dash is original and looks to be working. All of the instrumentation and lighting work as they should. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. It's a little hard to tell if the air conditioning is working, but I think it is. The heater works fine. The original shaft mount radio still works, too. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.
Mechanically, this C-10 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 350ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this truck. The suspension feels tight as a drum. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps proper temperature. She feels strong and smooth in any situation. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. This C-10 has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of August, 2016. If you're looking for a truck to restore, this is a very solid platform to start from...but make no mistake, you can also drive this truck anywhere and use it just the way it sits if you're just looking fora rock solid old pickup. I've been using the heck out of this truck. It has been extremely reliable and is great to drive. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
