A reliable great running truck that can be driven anywhere.This is a1956 short box Chevy mounted on a 1986 Chevy half-ton frame. Power steering, power disc brakes (front)with modern suspension, and AM/FM/CD make this truck a pleasure to drive. Engine is a 350 with World Product Heads, a mild RV cam, Weiand Intake, and 4 Stomberg Carburetors. Transmission is a 700R4 with shift kit and Lokar floor shifter. Truck will run 70-75 at 1400 rpms! This runs cool whatever the weather or traffic conditions with an aluminum radiator. Some custom chrome plating was added to door panels, ash tray, glovebox door, hood hinges, hood supports, and radiator support cover. It has a complete Painless Wiring harness and fuse panel. Gauges are Moon. Large authentic Moon tank in rear is not plumbed. Fuel tank is under box with flip-cap filler on bed floor. Wheels are American Racing Salt Flats shod in B.F. Goodrich radials. While the body is solid, there is wear and checking to the lacquer paint. Both the windshield and side glass arenew. I'm selling this for a friend who's owned the truck for 20 years.
