This original California ’87 square box is worn just right but all new mechanically! Last year of the squares, first year of the fuel injected, only year with a 4 speed auto. 350 throttle body fuel injection with new long block paired to a 4 speed overdrive automatic transmission. Significantly overinvested, mechanically new, and all bugs sorted. 4” full suspension front drop with springs, lowering spindles and control arms, 6” rear drop with reverse shackle mounts, shocks, and notch. Runs and drives really well, ice cold A/C, and beautiful interior. Exterior patina, dings, dents and scratches give it a proper truck look. The modern drivetrain, suspension, dual operating gas tanks, and interior make it a suitable daily driver. Car runs at 180 degrees with icy A/C in South Florida. Awesome truck.

Bought this truck with every intention of keeping forever, much like every other car I’ve bought, refinished, and then sold. I’m fairly confident I have more interest in the project than the completion. It may be hereditary. Have poured a ton of cash into this last year square and kept it period correct with several understated updates.
