1970 Chevelle SS Big Block Convertible in killer color combination!!! 70 was the peak year for the horsepower and displacement. This is powered by a 396 big block producing 350 hp and 427 lbs/ft or torque. More than enough to overwhelm the rear tires!! Since the completion of the car in 2010 it has traveled only 7600 miles. IT was a frame off nut and bolt restoration at that time and still looks new. Backing the 396 is a rebuilt TH-400 automatic trans and on to a 12 bolt 3:31 posi rear. Mulitple show winning car with power steering, power brakes, power windows, Tilt wheel, AMFM Stereo, power top Chambered exhaust system, functional cowl hood and ice cold Air Conditioning.These cars are bringing a lot more at Mecum and Barrett-Jackson than I am asking so snooze and you lose !
