Description

This is a real deal L84 convertible project. This car has been in storage since 1981.I have a copy of the orig. title. This car was purchased new on 6/19/64 in New York. I have extensive history and old pictures of this car. It had a frame up restoration the late 70's have the pictures. The car was orig. Silver/Red, but during the restoration was painted Red with a black interior. An engine issue sidelined the car where it sat until I purchased it a few years ago. I had the RF code engine professionally rebuilt to factory specs. I sent the fuel injection out to a reputable guy who specializes in Rochester Fuel Injection for a complete rebuild and restoration. The engine was run and broken in on a engine stand by the builder. I have all documents from the engine and fuel injection rebuild. The car has orig. knock off wheel and teak steering wheel. The body has some nicks and chips from its long storage. This has a very solid frame with paint pealing and such from a long term storage. The car is very complete including the orig. air cleaner and s tube. The car is very presentable in its current state. One could go through the brakes and fuel system and be driving the car shortly. That was my orig. plan, until I had more time to properly restore this back to its orig. color. I have a few other projects that wont allow me to get to this for quite some time. The engine and fuel injection are not in the car, I do have the front bumper and new clutch that will go with the car. I would be happy to answer and questions you might have. Here is an opportunity to own a blue chip corvette. They made 1325 units in 1964 and im quite sure the silver/red combo narrows it done to a few. Thanks and happy bidding!
