I JUST love a quality El Camino!!
This particular Chevy was recently plucked from the Pacific Northwest where the thought of laying salt on the roads is a sin, so you can be sure it is rust-free! This El Camino has been fully restored, and is featured with my absolute favorite power plant 327 and an upgraded 5-speed manual!
This is a very affordable, but yet high quality classic that will continue to show very well for years to come.
The 327 Chevrolet V-8 has been completely rebuilt, and runs very strong. There is absolutely no smoke coming from the tailpipes, nor does it sputter and cough as you try to accelerate down the road.
The Tremec 5-speed transmission shifts smoothly into gear without any grinding or linkage problems. How fun is it to drive a classic while manually shifting through the gears???
The exterior paint is very respectable. This truck was probably painted quite a few years ago, and has held up very well. The Lemans Blue color may not be original to this car, but it sure looks awesome! The sheet metal is straight as an arrow, and all the gaps are just as they should be.
The interior is just as good. The headliner is 100% intact with only minor wrinkles... but not sagging. The blue vinyl bench seat is extremely comfortable, and has obviously been redone with new foam padding. There are no rips, tears, cracking or wear of any kind on the seat. The dashboard is in excellent shape, and features an aftermarket blinker tach.
The bed of this truck is in very nice shape with only very minor dings. It is apparent that this was used to haul light duty items at one time, but not since the re-paint. To help keep your lawn chairs and cooler in place; a custom hard tonneau cover keeps everything in the bed right where it belongs (and dry)!
Sitting on a really cool set of 5-spoke wheels and brand new tires; this El Camino is ready to roll!
Superb condition; fun to drive; less than $20k. Can't beat it!
