According to family members, prior owner dismantled the car 20 years ago to complete restoration. Vehicle last registered in 1995. Owner was a mechanic. He was only able to strip and primer the body shell before his passing. Title was transferred to his daughter.
NOTE: Typical of Chevelles assembled at the Arlington TX - this car does not have any concealed VIN numbers stamped into the cowl or the frame. The correct 1970 Chevelle Frame part number is stamped into the rear driver-side frame rail (3960733s219).
