Up for auction is my 1966 Chevy ii

I bought this car last fall as a project from guy who had bought it from the original owners family. I have worked on it over the winter cleaning it up and getting it ready for summer driving.

The car has 50932 original mile the original 194 straight 6 which I have installed a Offenhauser dual one barrel carb set up. It runs pretty good but still needs some carb adjustments. Tends to bog down atslow speeds, but runs good at high speeds. Also did a major engine compartment clean up by removing the engine and tranny, which isthe original2 speed powerglide and cleaning everything up and repainted.

While the engine was out the carI had new floor pans welded in. There is still some rust areas in the body which you can see in the pictures. The car was repainted at some point before I bought it, I think back in the 80s, from what the previous owner told me, to the blue you see now. Car was originally white.

The car has new brakes and brake lines, new gas tank, lines, and sending unit. Interior has new carpet, seats have all been recovered with new foam, all the old matting was trashed. Could use a new headliner. I am having a hard time finding one in stock. The dash has 2 cracks in it and the gauges were replace with the SS looking gauges. I still have the old ones if you want them, along with the one barrel intake and side covers and air cleaner. The tire are new BF Goodrich's I have the original 13"bias ply tiresand rims that will go with the car as well.

All windows work as they should. Heater works fine. Windshield wipers are not working, but I will see what is going on with that and try to fix them before auction end, they were working when I bought the car. All light works fine.There is no radio in the car, it is a radio delete. Paint on the car is pretty nice does have some small scratches and flaws that you can see in the pictures. Car drives very nice and tight however I would recommend trailering the car if you are going a long distance.
