Description

If you are interested in bidding but have 15 or less feedback, you need to contact me first, if not, then your bid will be retracted. Just being fair to serious bidders.

Up for sale is basically an all original 68 bel air with 106K untouched miles. This car was originally from Arizona since day one and found it's way several years ago back east and has a clear PA title and was placed ina storage facility. This car is very dry thanks to the AZ sun and has very minor surface rust. There is some small rust bubbling on the rear of the hood and bottom drivers front fender. The trunk and floorboards are all solid. Has the numbers matching 307 2V V-8, single exhaust, powerglide trans and power steering. There is no A/C or P/W with manual brakes.

The paint (Island Teal Met), looks to be original but is unknown ifever a repaint. The hood, roof and trunk lid have sun fading and may be able to rub out. Fenders, doors and 1/4 panels still retain a decent shine. Body has small imperfections and dings here and there, nothing major and the side stainless trim is in good condition. Front bumper/grill assembly is very nice. The rear bumper is so-so w/ (2) small dings, scratches etc; Still retains an OK shine for a daily driver.

The interior appears to be original material. Door panels, headliner, carpeting, seat belts in excellent shape. The top portionof the rear seat was badly sun damaged so I had replaced with the correct vinyl color. Rear package tray was also sun damaged and a piece of carpeting was pulled out leaving the original p/tray material. Dash has several cracks but I have a brand new OEM correct dash cap w/matching paint, adhesive and mounting instructions. All the glass is very nice w/no cracks, blemishes or fogging. Door weather stripping is showing it's age. The tires are showing decent tread w/no dry rot appearing and holding air. Unknown as to how old they are. I took the car up to 45 MPH and they seemed fine. Vehicle has an aftermarket radio and an 8-track player(Old School). Original radios all over Ebay, P/N# 7303311 if interested[. Gauges and lights work fine, dome light is out, heater is fine, the passenger side air vent cable came loose and needs to be remounted. Have the owners manual as well.

The car runs just fine, shifts good and has decent brakes. there are no leaks or any strange noises. no over-heating and a very comfortable ride. If your looking for an old school solid all American ride, then this one may be for you. Again, it is solid and not cut-up.

I placed a reasonable reserve on the car based on overall condition. Any questions you can e-maiul or call me at (408) 448-1717. I accept Paypal for a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 and must be receivedwithin at the close of auction. Balance can be made w/cash in person, a cashier's check and/or money order. Winning bidder is responsible for their own shipping of the vehicle. Bid responsibly and good luck.
