Description

1960 Chevy Impala Hardtop. It has a 1992, 454 and turbo 400 trans from a Chevy truck. The engine runs great and transmission shifts well. Don't know how many miles on it. This is a project that has been setting in my garage for too long. I have three projects and will never live long enough to finish them so I hope to find this awesome one a nice new home. Has a new gas tank. I have disassembled it to have the body repainted. I have ALL the stainless trim and it is in very good condition. Will need newclips.I have the front and rear windshields in good condition.I have purchased a complete black and white interior carpet to white headliner and have the seats ready to be reinstalled. Have ALL seat trim. HaveALL interior trim. New interior and exterior door handles and window cranks. Complete rubber kits for doors, roof rails, trunk, under hood, windshield, door seals and window channel fuzzes, vent window rubber, front and rear windshield gaskets. New door sill plates. ALL new taillight lenses and gaskets, interior light lenses andpark light lenses. Front and rear bumpers have been rechromed to show quality. Door window frame rechromed to show quality. 1 rechromedside window frame that holds the vent window.Rechromed heater control bezel New 18"REV wheels with low profile wide tires. Duel exhaust system is fairly new. Both rear quarter panels lower half have been replaced. Car was originally a 6 cylinder car and retains the original rear end I believe. I have the 14" wheels and tires with original hub caps if you prefer them. Can adjust price$1200 without REV wheels and tires.

What still needs to be corrected:

1: Repaint. should be pretty straight forward with a little body repair. 1- 8" place on rear window channel will have to be cut out and replaced. Small spot on trunk lid near lock. No other rust on body.

2: Trunk floor pan needs to be replaced. I have an aftermarket pan that will convey with the car. This will be the worst part of the repairs.

3: Instrument cluster should be replacer. I was going to install Dakoda Digital LED gauges.

4: Suspension bushings front and rear are shot. Recommend full rebuild and add rear sway bar forgood handling.

5: Heater is disconnected. Don't know why. Suspect core is leaking but don't know for sure. Was going to install Vintage Air system anyway.

6: Electrical is working ok and looks ok but I would consider a rewire to be sure its safe.

7: Engine rear main seal is leaking and need to be replaced.

8: All side glass need replacing, 2 cracked.Just replacing 2 would look funny.

I bought the car 2013 for $15,000 plus $725 shipping. I have spent $7,100 on parts, services and rechroming. I have documents and receipts. I have a clear Virginia title. Will be sold as is with NO WARRENTY. I believe this car can be finished into a killer car for an additional $12000 and some sweat equity. I can complete some of the remaining work for you for a reasonable fee if you like. I hope i have given a thorough description of the car. Im sure if have left out some of the new parts. Any questions are welcome.

Shipping will be responsibility of buyer. I may be able to deliver to most places east of the Mississippi River for areasonable fee.
