Corvair Monza Coupe

This classic car is a good representation of the Chevrolet's effort to combine sports car with economy car.

The car is mostly restored to very good condition. The paint is fresh, although a cheap Maaco job. It does have a deep scratch on the passenger side door as can be seen in one of the pictures. The interior is really nice with all new upholstered seats, head liner, door cards, and floor carpet. The front trunk has new carpet lining as well.
All glass is good without cracks or chips (except poorly repaired rock chip in the windshield).
The motor is a stock boxer flat 6, with a 2-speed automatic. The car starts, stops, and drives great. The only mechanical issue on this car is the twin carbs just don't seem to want to get along with each other.
All of the lights function as they should, with the exception of the automatic click off of the turn signals. They are a bit finicky (but work). The tires are very good, and it has new "spoke" hubcaps. Period correct. I also have 4 non-matching Corvair hubcaps.
The motor runs great, but those darn carbs can be frustrating. At least they are for me. The 76930 miles on the odometer are actual to the best of my knowledge. Over the years the motor compression has dropped to about 80% of factory. Not too bad for a 52 year old car.

The pictures show the motor without the air cleaner, it is included with the car. The rear Corvair badge not visible in the picture is also included. Four non-matching Corvair hubcaps are also included.

This is a used vehicle being sold "as is, where is." Please do not expect it to look and drive as new. But it is a good classic car.
