Description

1990 ChevroletSUBURBAN
UNRESERVED
For salePRIVATELYby the second mature adult owner.
Available to anyone in the United States, and WORLDWIDE (yes, we have experience!)
Hello everyone. This is a private sale of anoriginal-&-unrestoredChevrolet Suburban. It is the top-of-the-line SLE model.
Vehicle is currently located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada(about 3 hours north of the border).
  • It is domestic build, considered antique status, and... FREE TO TRAVEL WITHOUT RESTRICTION.
    • (Ebay does not have provision for people with multiple residences).
History:We originally discovered this Suburban after it was placed for sale by the realtor selling the home of the original widow owner. Nice thing about this Suburban is it's originality. That and, well... The low mileage. Asides from upkeep and maintenance, it's almost entirely untouched. I find it's condition remarkable. My wife and I collect vintage automobiles; specifically, we love low mileage originals. Although this certainly fits the bill as a low mileage original, it's not quite vintage enough for us and the novelty of it's discovery and ownership has somewhat worn off. I think the condition is truly remarkable and was impressed mostly by the lack of wear on, well... almost everything. We're told that neither of the 2 back rows of seating have ever been sat in. We're also told that the original owner was a little over-compulsive and, I have no reason to doubt that. All the carpeting was covered with grey house carpeting, then two sets offloor mats. There are other indicators as well but, I'll leave it at this. I don't want to over-sell. Please look at the pictures and see for yourself.
Condition:There are several chips in the paint. One is 1/4" in size, and there are 2 that are nearly 1/2" inch. Not being a dealer, or professional photographer, I've tried my best to capture these. (Please refer to the pictures where I held a tape measure for exact reference). Also, there is 1 small ding in the driver's rearwheel well molding. This one's quiteinconspicuous but, I believe I managed to capture it in the most unflattering light possible to enhance it. Finally, there's a small "warble" in the rear bumper. I've included a picture of this as well. I am openly sharing these pictures as full disclosure so please don't "grill" me about additional close-up's and underneath pictures. It's very clean. Vehicle had full protection package when new and, along with the low mileage, seems to have really preserved well considering it's age.
    • Mileage 51,862 miles
      • The speedometer reads both English and Metric but, the odometer is in Metric.
      • Kilometres are 080,344. That equates to precisely 51,862 miles.
      • PLEASE do not write to me pointing out that the mileage in the picture is higher than stated. As I've just mentioned, the odometer reads kilometres. 51,862 is the imperial equivalent to 80,344 kilometres.

Please refer to our feedback... You will see how I have changed down our little collection and, you will see over a dozen comments from overjoyed buyers of other collector vehicles. My wife and I have liquidated quite a few cars last year, and the year prior. Thesevehicles went to happy new collectors across the United States, and destinations as far as Germany, Holland, New Zealand, and several to even theMiddle East.
Being domestic built, and over 25 years in age, means this truck isexempt from any import/export restrictions. It is as free to travel as a bird. If you buy this truck from us, my wife Sophia will be happy to take care of everything shipping related for you. She's developed some excellent contacts and become very good at this. Asides from taking care of the bank transfer, you'll hardly have to lift a finger.
Now, shy of writing an encyclopedia-type description, I think I've covered everything. If there's anything I've missed, or anything you would like to ask, please do not hesitate to write. I look forward to helping.I will offer my private email, just because sometimeseBay messages getinadvertently delayed. It is bravohomes@rocketmail.com. If you would like to speak in person, please let me know and we can even arrange that. Good communication is pivotal to happy dealings! I encourage discussion.
    One last thing... NO ZERO-FEEDBACK buyers PLEASE. If you have zero-feedback, please write to me 1st, with your intentions. We've been defrauded several times. Every single time we've dealt with a zero-feedback new-ebayer we've been left hanging. With 1 exception (an FBI agent who bought our Jeep "Jethro"), every single zero-feedback buyer has been insincere and left me having tore-list;
As a final-final-final thought....We are taking a big chance bylisting this Suburban UNRESERVED. I am hoping that it narrows down the bidder pool to only super-serious and genuine buyers. Please, please... Write to me, call me, message, email. I will reply or answer quickly, informatively, and happily. Don't worry about being bothersome.... I'm always up for some "car-talk" with a fellow enthusiast. Your bid is a contract to buy; not to consider, reconsider, and then ignore. I'd rather answer honestly and describe accurately than have a "misunderstanding" afterwards. I cannot stress enough... Look at the feedback comments from people that bought from us. I promise to be Mr. Helpful for you too !!!
We have a little procedure. It focuses on a good back/forth flow of communication, and works flawlessly. Here's how it goes:
  • Immediately after winning auction, YOU send us your buyer's information, exactly as youwould like it to appear on your documents.
  • WE confirm receipt of such.
  • WE fill everything in, including title, and send it back to you.
  • YOU confirm receipt of such and acknowledge.
  • WE send banking information.
  • YOU validatereceipt of such.
  • YOU go to your bank and make transfer.
  • WE confirm receipt
  • WE immediately get to work on shipping duties and take care ofeverything else.
  • YOU get your fabulous new/old Suburban, and confirm/validate how happy you are!!!
  • *You'll see that all communication is constantly validated and acknowledged.I am very adamant about this procedure and will not deviate. It is so easy and works so well. If, for any reason, you cannot oblige to this little system, we will assume that something isn't "right" anyway. If you would like to pick up your vehicle, please keep in mind, that doesn't extend any payment period. It will still have to be paid for first.
Your bid is a commitment to buy (not come examine, then decide). This is an unreserved auction for a reason. I want simplicity. Scrimping every dime to top dollar is not my goal. Payment is still due within 48 hours!!! If you are cynical about the condition... Refer to my feedback.
Good luck fellow enthusiasts, and happy bidding!

On Mar-13-18 at 07:19:15 PDT, seller added the following information:

    Thank you for your bids.
I would like to also thank everyone for their well thought out inquiries. I strongly believe that good communication is integral to a smooth and happy purchase.
A common question has been if we had a price. Answer is no, and one of the several reasons we chose to have an unreserved auction. We thought we'd let you choose what you think it's worth. That being said...If you have an offer, we'd certainly consider. (I can appreciate the go-getter approach and have closed many of our previous auctions early).
