We are happy to present this correct L48 Corvette convertible. It is hard to believe that the car only has 9313 miles, but our seller knows the history of the car very well. The car was stored most of it's life and so it has some surface rust under it.

Originally purchased in Seatl, WA. by a woman who lived and worked in Anchorage Alaska, she took very good care of it and only accrued 4600 miles on the car until she sold it to the CEO of the company she worked for. That gentleman kept thecar until late 2011 and only added another 4000 miles to the odometer. He also hardly ever drove it. In 2011 he became very ill and had to sell the car. His brother knew how much he cared about the car and said he would buy it. He has had it in storage ever since.
This car is tight and when you drive it, it's like driving it when it was new. The original matching numbers engine has never been overhauled, but it has been maintained well.
The A pillars are solid as well as the inside tops of the doors. These are 2 of the usual places to detect rust.

Over the years, the paint became cracked and faded, so the current owner had it repainted about a year ago in it's original color.
The interior is in very good condition. We were told it is all original and have no reason to think it isn't. The dash has no cracks or splits.
The black canvas convertible top is in very good condition. The 75 Corvette was the last of the convertibles until approximately 20 years later.
The auxiliary hard top is also in excellent condition. This and theother options on this Corvette add $6800. to it's value. Those additional options are;the close ration 4 speed manual transmission($500) the power windows($200), the A/C ($1000.), the hard top ($1850), the power steering($2500), and the tilt/telescoping steering wheel($750).
Of the 38,465 Corvettes produced in 1975, only 4,629 were convertibles.
The engine compartment is original and in good condition. The car runs great and even though it is rated at a modest 165hp, it has plenty of power.
The undercarriage is in good condition. There is surface rust, but nothing serious.
