1957 Chevrolet Bel AirNomad. This is one of the original 6,103two door sport wagons produced in 57'. This vehicles restoration is in process and will require final painting and assemblyto complete.Ithas ALL the original Factory metal & hard to find 1957 NOMAD specific parts. No aftermarket metal or swap meet searches neededto complete this build.

99% of the parts needed to complete this car have already been purchased or are reconditioned originals. All have been cataloged, labeled, and packaged for safe keeping.I’ve highlighted the big ticket items below ( please see pictures).

-This is an unmodified correct numbers car includingEngine / Transmission / Rear End.

-Factory chassis / drivetrain / suspension have already been restored.

-ALL CHROME IS DONE! All original bumpers / exterior &interior chromehas been professionally re-plated (no reproductions).

-WESTERN RUST FREE UNMOLESTED OEM METAL from top to bottom (no mini tubs or trim shaved!).

-Roof still wears the factory Adobe Beige paint along with the factory undercoating.

-Dash / door jams / tailgate / rear cargo area have already been painted (base coat / clear coat).

-All correct ORIGINAL date coded FACTORY glass (w/ a new reproduction windshield).

-Complete CARS INC. reproduction interior / door panels / SS trim / carpet / headliner / trim / handles. Seat covers are installed.

-Original SS headliner bows have been restored.

-Rear Hatch assembly was removed in 1971 so there is NO WARPAGE.

-All rear hatch-tailgate trim / mounts / parts are either new or re-chromed originals.

-Two sets of exterior trim are included. Early reproduction AND the originals.

-Complete set of NEW body seals.

-Rear Hatch glass was removed in 1971. NO WARPAGE from the factory torsion springs.

History: Built in Kansas City, MO. This 1957 Nomad spent its early days in westernNebraska . It was disassembled in 1971 andwas stored out of the weatherin Grand Island, Nebraska until the second owner in Nebraska purchased the car inthe mid-late 80's. I purchased it in 2006 and it has spent the last 12 years parked in my climate controlled garage north of Denver.

Shipping: Located 30 minutes north of Denver, Colorado. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.This is NOT a running/driving car at the moment BUT the factory suspension has been reinstalled since the exterior pictures were taken. Engine cylinders have been kept oiled down & the rotating assembly spins freely. Itwill roll easily into a trailer or vehicle transporter.

Payment: $500 deposit through paypal w/in 48 hrs of auction close. Complete payment by cash or bank transfer before the vehicle leaves. We can work out title transfer prior to shipping.
