1965 chevy c10 farm truck rat rod work truck

Description

for sale is a 65 Chevy c10 farm truck with a wood steak style bed. the truck rides on a 74 Chevy 4x4 long bed frame which was shortened 1 foot to make the steak bed fit. I bought this truck 3 years ago and have only changed radiator, fan, valve covers, intake manifold, and carb, oils, filters, and grease. All the next information listed was told to me by the previous owner. the truck came from north Carolina. the original frame was not useable so a 74 Chevy 4x4 frame was used. to make the 7 foot stake bed fit the frame was shortened 1 foot. truck has a mid 80's 305 small block Chevy motor with a manual 4 speed transmission. motor was rebuilt and clutch was changed. front disk breaks were replaced. new fuel pump.
I have been using this truck for the last few years as a farm truck. once or twice a month I would use it to haul pigs, hay, straw, or pull gravity wagons full of grain or farm equipment. the truck runs and drives. it is on the road currently. since I have owned truck I have added a big aluminum radiator with electric fan. a weiand aluminum intake manifold. edelbrock aluminum valve covers, and a used edelbrock carb.
the cab is in overall ok condition for the year. I don't believe their is any fiberglass or filler on the exterior panels. the rockers, corners, and door bottoms are all in decent shape. the floors have some holes which have been repaired with fiberglass. it also needs a cab support under floor. the paint is faded and has chips and scratches. theirs is some dents as seen in the pictures.
their is some issues that need to be fixed. the motor leaks a little oil. one low beam dose not work. one high beam dose not work. both front signal lights do not work. front windshield has a crack. is makes a little squeaking noise when driving. the front driveshaft is not installed so 4x4 does not work. truck comes with a goo front driveshaft. bench seat cover has tear. most gauges don't work.
overall it is a running driving useable truck it does need some work but not bad for a 65. it has good tires and wheels. all doors and glass work as they should (except cracked windshield). it has a heavy duty hitch and wire harness it pulls anything. use it as is, turn it into a rod, or restore it. great old truck. I bought a newer crew cab to haul kids which is why I am selling.
truck comes with a NYS transferable registration as NY does not give titles to cars and trucks older than 1975. if your state gives titles to old cars they will give you a title when you get your tags.
