Description

This is an original undisturbed factory 1972 Matching numbers Chevy El Camino 400 (LS3 396/402) U code Big Block Car. Original matching numbers engine, trans and rear end. This Truck has been unmolested for 45 years and still runs and drives with lots of power. It has the original Black interior, vinyl bench seat, standard dash, Factory original Gulf Green paint, factory AM radio, dash clock and original wheels. Options include Factory A/C (Not working but complete), Cruise Control (Not working but complete), Power Steering, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, TH400 and 12 Bolt Rear End. It also has the factory cargo rails which sell on Ebay for $500-$1000 if you want to resell them. Also installed are the factory bumper guards. A true Big Block survivor.

The headliner and carpet is in really good shape and there are a couple of small tears in the seat. Both doors close extremely solid. There is no visible cancer under the vinyl top. All the lights work also.

All original body panels. This truck has never been in any major or minor accidents (You can tell). The car has surface rust under the chassis but the interior of the cab is perfect. No rust whatsoever. No typical rotting at the bottom of the rear window onto the floor or in the spare tire area. The interior floors are completely rust free and clean under the carpet. The bed and both rear quarters will eventually need replacing or you can just drive the car and enjoy it until you are ready to do the bodywork. The rear lower sections of the front fenders have the typical rust that gets behind the fender which can be replaced with patch panels. All of these panels are readily available through any of the many catalog suppliers available. The key buzzer amazingly works as well as the AM radio.

The radiator and water pump are brand new and the car starts up consistently with two pumps of the accelerator. This car is a joy to drive.

Car was originally built out of the Van Nuys, CA factory but spent most of it?s life in Tulsa OK. This is the perfect car to build an SS Clone due to the number on the cowl tag (13680 Custom) or it can be restored as an original Big Block car.

This car is for real, so no trades, scammers, spammers or help selling and only funding through PayPal will be accepted to protect us both. Purchaser is responsible for shipping.
